Php 999 subscriber here.

The Pros:
fast, consistent and reliable internet during off peak hours
speed bursts up to 1.3mbps, again during off peak
dedicated tech support hotline.billing statement has a list of contact numbers that you can call - i do it during business hours para siguradong connected.pag busy yung isa, try mo yung iba.

The Cons:
same as other providers - unexpected downtimes.

if youre familiar with how cable internet is structured, pede ka na magdalawang isip.ask your neighbors if theyre also using destiny cable dahil mag aagawan kayo sa bandwidth hehehe.pero kung sa catv lang naman sila subscribed, ok lang.

at peak times, theres a significant loss of signal. to monitor this, keep your command prompt pinging a certain site(type "ping google.com -t" - minus the " ha?). ok lang naman na may minsanang nawawalang response pero kung grabe na talaga to the point na kahit facebook o goole hindi mo ma-browse, call the tech support for assistance.

alam ko naka-cap(limited) yung Php499 sa 512kbps eh. not bad na rin kung dvdrips lang naman ang pipiratahin mo.pero kung malakihan, it would take weeks for the download to complete hehe.

im a pirate too, may deal ako after ikabit yung cable net ko, kinabit din yung catv for free hehehe..

mandaluyong area here. madalas nga ang downtimes lately. dumadalas din yung pag reconnect ko dahil yung latency guma-grabe na.

after 4 years of subcription, ngayon lang ako nadismaya.

i recently moved from mandaluyong to rosario, pasig and prior to moving, i sent them an email notifying them of my new address(i did my research and found out that my new place has destiny cable tv and net so yey!). that email was sent last week. i have not received any response from them hanggang ngayon. i went to one of their offices and was informed that the office only caters to catv subscribers. dinerect ako sa cubao branch for my internet concern. malayo pa ang cubao. i have no time to deal with it for now pero pag nakakuha ako ng chance, sugod ako dun.

im a very calm person.very rare yung pinapauna ko yun init ng ulo especially when im dealing with people who work in the same field as mine.yun nga lang, the rep i spoke with when i went to their office was very ignorant of their service and doesnt know how to properly route my concern.ang pinipilit nya eh mag subscribe ako ng bago for catv when i was talking about my internet connection. i just smiled and left knowing that she cant and she wont be able to address my concern.

now im in search for a good broadband connection.globe dsl perhaps?

Kong para sa pang facebook, email, messages.. lang or surfing without any video at gaming involve pwede na yan.

Maganda lang sa ganyang package kasama na ang cable tv , which is good.
