another ask here:

yung fernando na stock heads, may nakalagay na made by remo - taiwan.

is it a remo ba talaga sir?

another is sa durability po nung stock heads, mas matibay po ba to compared sa lazer heads?

salamat po

As far as I know sir, REMO UT or UX na yung stock ehads ng fernando. yes Remo ito, pero not the REMO USA's that you see on high end kits. these are remo heads meant for the entry level market. They sound nice naman, pero you'll be replacing these most likely.

Comparing these to LAZER Heads, durability wise, depende sa model. kung single ply yung Remo UT/UX mo, tapos yung sa lazer eh yung Pinstrip copy, malamang dun tayo sa LAZER. pero again, as far as I know, at par lang yung lazer heads sa REMO UT/UX kasi ang alam ko, REMO UT/UX Heads din yung binebenta ng lazer, rebranded lang. :)
hahaha ako binibiyak ko muna yung wetpaks para makita kung may yellow thingy hahahaha

Tama. hahahaha look into MAPEX Pro-M or Steel Snares. OR Pearls. laking difference sa fernando. hindi naman din nagkakalayo presyo nung BNEW na fernando sa 2nd hand na Mapex. check the classifieds.

Bumili kaso ako last 4 or maybe 5 years ago.

Wala kasi akong pic e. Hehe. I think above entry level sya. Hehe. So basswood sya sir Ralph? Okay ba ang quality and sound nun sir?  :)

Hmmm.. mukhang di nga siya yung entry level. yeah, im guessing basswood siya, or birch. can't tell without pictures! :D

so far, experience ko sa basswood, maganda. most mapex na entry level, basswood, fit them with good heads, and good to go na siya usually hahaha :D

Question: What drum head do you use for you fernando drum kit?

Balak ko kasi bumili ng Coated Ambassador sa snare, Evans EC2 for toms and Evans Emad for bass drum.

Okay kaya 'to? Hehe. Any suggestions will be accepted. :-D

That would do,it depends on what sound you want.
If you want more open sound gets ambassadors or the equivalent on Evans and aquarian one ply sound. It you want coated types it would add warmth In the sound like ooohhhh, hehe
Two plies like ec2 of Evans and pinstripe of Evans has shorter sustain good for metal and articulate playing.

Great! Thanks sa advice! :) Mas madali ba ma-tono and ec2 saka mas less overtone for toms? :-D
