Keyboard Patch/Program Interchangeability
« on: June 13, 2006, 10:47:59 AM »
Hi! I plan to upgrade my Korg keyboard to a later Korg model. Can I still use my edits on the former for use in the latter. If there is a shortcut, that would cut long hours and tremendous effort.

Depends... from what Korg model to what? For example, the patches between the X-series and Trinity are incompatible. The Trinity, Triton, and upcoming TR-series all use the HI synthesis algorithm so there is the remote possiblity that their patches might be compatible; the only problem being references to their internal ROM.
