Ano ang top 5 bluesharp keys ang maganda dalhin sa blues jam?

My choice.. KEy of C, A, D, G and Bb. In that order. Any other combinations? Suggestions?

Chromatic na lang kung tinatamad ka magdala ng madaming harp..
...di ka nga lang makakapag bend ng note :-P :-D

Meron nga akong Chrom (Key C) pero para sa akin mas mahirap gamitin tsaka di ko gusto yung tunog.
ANo ba ang pina ka common na keys sa blues jams?

Maganda yung chromatic sa mga jazzy blues, yung diatonic mas bagay sa country blues talaga kasi pwede mag note bending. Pero si Little Walter gumagamit din ng chromatic harp minsan. :-)

Pag 3rd position ok ang chrom. Ikaw ano preference mong harps dalhin sa jam?

Di kasi ako nagtuloy tuloy sa pag ha-harp kasi nag shift ako sa sax. Pero key of C ang pinakamadalas kong gamiting blues harp noon.

C is also my main harp. Followed by A and D. Gusto ko rin mag aral ng saxophone. Ang mahal lang ng talaga ng SaX. Tsaka na associate ko sya sa jazz which is too complicated for me.
Blues..I,IV,V tapos meron kang C,A,D harps...ayos na.

For blues it would be Bb, A, D, C respectively. I just love blues in F.
For rock and roll it would be D, A, C, G.

Wow! YOu got a low F! Astig! di pa ako nakakarinig nung key na yun kaya I searched the ever reliable youtube. :-) and found this. Now that is a loooow harp! it has the feel of a baritone sax, IMO.
Yup, kaya gamit na gamit ko Bb. blues in F are so...
... well, bluesy! ;-)

Salamat sa site! Pers taym ko na rinig si Jon Gindick sa you tube. I remember my first audio lesson from a wornout cassette left by a friend. " Western and Country harmonica for the musically hopeless." by Jon Gindick.
I only use my Low F Tombo to play my 'attempt' at JJ Milteau's 'Fragile'. And my interpretation of 'Lean On Me' crossharp in C.
Thats the closest I could get to the sound of Sax with out losing an arm or leg. Ang mahal ksi ng Sax para sa di pro musikero.
