try nyo sir sa Egghead, marami kasi silang Audio Technica na dala. Pero sa specific model na yan, isa lang ang nakita ko sa Duty Free sa Pasay katabi nung M40x

Yung akin stock lang ng samsung phone. ok naman malakas sya. ang player ko pala eh yung nokia phone ko lang.

Pero nung nakagamit ako nung stock ng i phone na earphones maganda din. mas filtered yung tunog.

What's a good DAC to pair with Fiio X1. I might go with X1 -> SR80 setup. Pero pag na-feel ko na kapos tunog, I might buy a DAC also. So...... yortots?

buy an X3 instead for the better built-in DAC.

I don't think the X1 bypasses the internal DAC though. it does have a line out so you can use an amp with it, but if we're talking budget amps, sa Fiio ka rin babagsak because of the price/performance ratio. so mag X3 ka na lang din

bonus points for the X3, you can use it as an external DAC.

You are so mean.... But no. haha! I'll stick with the X1 first. I wanna have a taste of the lowest end first. So I would be able to tell the frickin difference.

sa bagay tama ka rin. but yeah, wala kang DAC bypass sa X1 (afaik) so sa amp ka na lang babawi via line out for any improvement. just pick the best you can afford na Fiio amp, yun talaga ang bang-buck sa low end

I just got this yesterday. I was originally choosing between the RHA MA750 and the Audio Technica IM70, then I saw this at Audiophile. THe fit was perfect and very comfortable. As for the sound, its still in the burn in period. Good bass freqs, full mids, slightly rolled off treble.

I'll go for the M40x only for the build quality. Removable cables, plus no exposed wire as with the SRH440.
