Congrats Anton! I bet it plays even better! I want to have my custom guitar na din but I couldn't put a finger on what the optimal neck width and profile is for me - SGs are what I gravitate to now - am std.  though I kinda like the profile of that roasted maple and its smoothness just by sanding it.

hell of a guitar, enjoy :) clips?

Hi Mike.. I'd like to have my guitar neck shaved like Zakk Wylde's guitar necks.. (because for some reason my hands tend to stick to the back of the neck.. maybe due to the finish i think).. anyway, do you do this kind of service?.. thanks a lot for your time.. =)

PS. Could you kindly PM me how much it would cost.. again, thanks a lot.. =)

@Carabao Thanks bro! get your MicSis custom built na! haha

@Psychic_sushi

your guitar is really beautiful and that neck felt exquisite when Mike showed me and I was surprised that it didn't have any coating. that roasted maple is somethin else.

following Anton's format

My custom MicSis specs:
- Reverse Headstock (based on the jazzmaster headstock, trimmed and tweaked)
- Quartersawn maple neck w/ rosewood board
- I have no idea what my neck's radius is exactly, but we based it off of one of the Micsis telestyle showroom models
-12 inch fretboard radius
- No fretmarkers. Just side dots
- Jumbo StewMac fretwire
- Fender lefty kluson style tuners
- Fender 50's style tele string tree
- Bulalo bone nut
- 2 piece Red Pine Body
- Thin Poly finish (FRONT: trans Sonic blue, BACK: Leo Parco magic wood stain)
- Cream binding with Strat belly cut and arm contour
- Bareknuckle pickups
  NECK: Nantucket 90
  BRIDGE: Pig 90
- 500k CTS solid shaft pots, 3-way Gibson style pickup switch
- Electro socket jack
- All parts tele style barrel knobs
- Wilkinson by Sung-Il cut-off tele bridge w/ compensated brass saddles

Unfortunately I have no access to Unicorn tears so I settled for a a small tub of Popoy's Sweat for the added mojo. lol

DAMN, very nice choice for the looks, Anton! grabe talaga pag si Mike ang gumawa ng paint job. sobrang wow lang talaga!

Wow! Gaganda ng guitars Anton and Emil. Ganda rin ng mga ideas :)

Thank you folks!

Hey Bjorn, roasted and naked is the way to go. You'll probably be able to use a thicker neck on an SG with less of a dip as roasted wood is lighter than the average fair.

The guitar is back at the shop for final fine tuning of a few things, installation of the decal, and more unicorn tears. I'll make clips when I get her back. :)

Thank you man! I too am surprised by the feel of the neck. It kind of seals itself when sanded, and smells like maple syrup! Delicious!

I'll be back on Saturday morning, would be great if we all bumped into each other :)

Two partscaster guitars in the making. I'm particularly excited about the telecaster with the same roasted maple wood Anton ordered from LMI. Kudos to psychic_sushi for the inspiration of this build. Let's see how things work out. :D
