because of this thread, I just spent 20 mins reading up on kinsman's story and other info from his site...including threads from other forums bashing him because he's now making the pickups here in RP. hindi pa rin ako bibili...ang mahal eh hehehhehe

bro focus ka  na lang sa gitara na magandang wood. sipag at tiyaga lang sa paghanap. then pag nahanap mo na yung tingin mong tatagal sa iyo, that's the time to change pickups etc.

Had one installed on my GT lp, sold the kinmans and reinstalled the lollars it had before.

Kinman's noiseless P90 SC pickups arent true Single coil pickups, very good for what it is,

but like most Non True SC pickups  like dimarzio, Fender, to name a few may kulang, if pwede na is ok with you then give it a shot

try to check his patent so you'll get an idea how he achieved his noiseless pickups its not much different than the design of other noiseless pickups out there with the exception of one that i wont mention cause it might stir some uneducated answers from some haters lolz

personally i hate 60 cycle hum but by now i just accepted it as a part of life.

btw kinmans are manufactured in country and in most cases in country stuff should be more expensive than one's being imported, and just cause they make it here doesn't mean it has to be cheaper

I wanna get the noiseless P90s for my LP Special DC. The current ones on it are noisy as hell, esp. with a Big Muff!
I'd rather be sharp than flat.

in short: if it's not the same as the original design, it's a different design that will approximate the sound of the original design minus the noise

*necro

I was able to buy one from Philmusic FB last year (i don't have FB pero public page naman yung classifieds so nakakapasok ako hehe). Nabili ko yung Odin Warrior Pickups for Strat. Ito yung Kinman models na hindi noiseless and made in the Philippines.

Bale it was a loaded pickguard with CTS pots i think and Switchcraft jack. Got it for around 7000 pesos.

According to documentations sa internet, Odin Warriors are supposed to be a powerful P90-ish sounding single coil pickup....and it does sound like an overwound P90. Binaba ko kaagad yung pickup height kasi nag bbreak-up kaagad yung amp on my desired settings.
