Comrade, with your DEC puwede ka ng mag DIRECT LEVEL ng speaker sim and the preamp would be sound more real specially sa LIVE kung wala parang flat sound ang preamp/speaker to me. I usually set Mic level 75-90 with Direct level 20-50 try it but without DEC its Fizzy. OD/DS i usually like to get my guitar single coil natural dry with Direct level 30-50 and with Effect level more on it specially the OD/DS is near the input that is why it gets more your dry natural guitar tone Direct signal near at the guitar input. Try this on your OD/DS setting effect level=0 and direct level=50 then add effect level unti-unti you'll hear what i mean compare to no direct level. Just my observation....

Here's what I do on OD/DS but many has their own way. Drive 0, EL 0 and DL 0....with clean preamp of course.
Walang sounds specially the OD/DS is near the INPUT. I put little DL first 20 to hear enough or add more to hear my guitar ....then both Drive and EL unti-unit....if needed, little DL more then Drive and EL...Drive and EL....you'll notice without DL the effect somewhat fake or digital sounding unlike analog stompbox....Again just my own observation....If anyone find a good technique pls share it naman. :-)

Well at the back especially the Reverb, I usually set it DL 100 and cut this out slowly and build up the effect level to balance out.... Here's a good tip from GT8 brilliance.....
Quote
How much Reverb are we talking here? The way to use Reverb in a majority of cases is very subtle. You generally always want to hear your dry signal, so keep your Direct level at 100. Now, if you want just some Room Ambience, you may only use 5 to 8 Effect Level. For Soloing you may use up to 15 to 20. Reverb can be the biggest cause sounds getting lost in the mix or not cutting through in a band situation. There’s a fine line between tasteful and muddy. I prefer to use Delay more so with just a touch of Reverb to help carry the Delay.

Goodluck on your recipe and pls have it share with US your an execellent GT10 tweaker....
BTW have you tried my DUAL WAH CONFIGURATION?  i need your feedback...everyone....I hate to say this but our Wah is the most weakest link in GT10 :x

But still i'm enjoying my GT10!!

i think its posible.. you have to configure your audio devices set up. like if you are using adobe audtition you'll set up the audio devices using the GT10 as the default audio device... cant remember the exact sequece though... i'll check it out when i get home :-D

just configure your audio app to redirect output to the GT10 instead of the primary sound card/device
for example sa winamp:

options-->preferences-->plugins-->Output-->select DirectSound output [out_ds.dll] --->click configure
-->sa Device na tab just change "Primary Sound Driver" to GT10 (of course assumes na installed and working na ang GT10 driver mo)

Hope that helps :)

Welcome!

pwedeng pwede sa WMP.

Tools-->Options-->[Devices] na tab--> sa device list select "speakers" --> (Sound Playback) Audio Device to use, change to "DirectSound: Boss GT-10". press OK or Apply...thats about it.

Sir kung Single mode preamp ang gamit mo take out the NS2 sa Ch B and place it before modulation. So you have NS1 right after Ch A then NS2 before Chorus and so on KC hindi naman siya nagagamit sa Ch B sayang.
Or if your using DUAL mode preamp set NS threshold to 40 and more then cut the release from 30 into 5-10 to eliminate swelling.
You need to set that according to your own if it is enough. No setting is fixed for everyone especially we have different gears. Lalo na sa LIVE, you need your own judgement co'z we're dealing with different loudness level of volume. You may want to set it up within your band rehearsal mas accurate.
Hope it help and other pls share. :-)

GT-10 has Pedal Bend.
Press MASTER/PEDAL FX button, scroll to PDL FX, press ENTER, and set the EXP pedal to PB. then in the 3rd tab, you can adjust your pedal bend settings there.

Pwede mo i-save yung external effects mo thru the S/R External loop. Turn on the S/R block and position the S/R Block where you want it in the FX chain.

Thanks! un gain ko sa 5150 preamp ay nasa 120 sagad. im thinking decreasing it to prevent more noise.

Hi! I am new here in this thread.  I have been a user of GT-10 for more than a year now and still tweaking. Someone was asking for a Steve Vai patch.  I got one and a real vai's sound.  I got it from the site of Glenn de laune.  I saw it on youtube.  Great patch konting tweak pa for your desired sound.  I think it sound great on humbuckers. Meron pa siyang Joe Satriani and other good sounding patches.  Try niyo. Just look for 'GLENN DE LAUNE".
