Bakit ang daming nagbebenta ng GT10?  :-(

To tell you the truth guys, matagal na sanang nabenta ang GT10 ko but with DEC happy and satisfied me
Last jam time we at home (Inkslingerx and I) tested my patch with DEC on his Crate Powerblock amp and dala niya with his own cab too and compare it to my Fender amp were both the same lang ang sound and it sounded great!!! BUT without the DEC naku!! :-o  That's why I'm sorry to say I (we) can't use the GT10 without it. Very digital in sound plus Fizzy and this tend the user difficult to tweak we understand. Inkslingerx can testify that.

Pwedeng makahingi ng "u2 clean" sounding patch. Hirap magtimpla. Thanks!

I totally agree! hindi talaga ako mapakali dati, kahit anong tweak na lang ang ginawa ko to improve the sound (distortion and preamp). But now that I have paired the GT10 and the DEC I can honestly say I can easily get the sound I want. Salamat sir Roger :D

See... I'm telling you the truth and this would open up your gt10 into new dimension. And for sure you gonna say what we're saying "Hindi ko magamit G10 ko kung walang DEC"
This is also why i'm not surprise maraming nagbebenta ng GT10 nila afterward na exhaust na ear nila sa digital sound. Not that i'm endorsing the DEC to you guys but this is all the matters and the truth. Lets face it pangit sabihan na di maganda tunog ng gear natin pero in reality boss failed us and buti nlng i did something for me its like a MOD ng stompbox and I don't want to loose those great flexibility of GT10 and sell it for less then what? balik uli ako sa ibang digitalFX.... man we inkslingerx and patrick and olan of perfect pitch for those who knew them tried this out with Line6 X3live and it great too..I even tried it myself sa JB music on their Zoom and Audiophile on their Korg ax3000 all the same. I documented some picture and posted it long before in this thread just search and look for it. And everytime I read someone selling his GT10 nalulungkot ako kc kumukonti na nlang tayo and that's sad me up
Sorry for my testimony.. but the truth is i'm so happy and very satified now with my GT10 and never get back or touch and still kept all my analog pedals at their own boxes and maybe someday i would sell them.

Nope, clean sound would pass thru just as is, this only filter out by removing those HIGHGAIN artifacts or digital FIZZ yield (especially on distortion sound (OD/DS and Preamp Drive/Distortion)) in the process hence maintain sonically the modeler true integrity sounding effects and great clarity outcome. You don't even need to switch OFF the DEC whenever clean or distortion patch
This is a good description quoted by Hadley regarding Fizz

Quote
Have you ever noticed that many distortion tones have a bogus-sounding, "mosquito-esk" hi end, that is seemingly imported from another universe, and sounds totally foreign to the main body of the tone? Well, the HC sonically "converges" (homogenizes) the sound back into a cohesive/satisfying/expressive tone, which sounds very organic to the human ear. Part of this process eliminates unnatural "fizz", but more importantly, it adds the brightness & timbre of a good tube amp, imparting a special tube-esk "urgency" and "snarl" to the otherwise boring midrange frequencies. Because of these improvements, the low end also sounds tighter, and can be boosted substantially without muddiness. Fizz is a bogus-sounding background hash which is the absolute *antithesis* of the tight, defined hi-end most of us long for. Fizz is present in all modelers I've heard to date, but over time, the user's ear adapts to this sound until it seems "normal". Some HC users say they were never aware of any fizz until they heard the same tones processed thru the HC - now they cannot stand to play without the HC!
