not all guitarist can be a good sound technician, modern great guitarist has their own technicians to handle their rigs. And a great guitarist like master rufo gets good tones and sounds from his fingers and not to any sound device. I remember what master chad robles told me when "stage 4 cancer like" na yun G.A.S ko, "good sounds are from you fingers and how they run in your fretboards and not in your fx".

Every time i feel the urge to sell my gt10 i always visit yung mga sites that give good comments to my fx, somehow it makes me feel that i have one of the best multifx ever created in this planet.

Member ako ng Couples for Christ, lead guitarist ng CFC National Music Ministry. Actually, yung rig ko, dito ko na lang ginagamit. Dati rin akong banda nuon, greco din ang gamit ko na hiniram at hindi na naibalik sa akin. Talagang ngang kailangan ko yang DEC mo kasi nagagalit ang mga matatandang member sa CFC. DEC here I come too.

I suggest you both visit me this holiday Mahal na Araw so demo would be one time. Right now I have spare unit (oven baked painted yellow/orange same color ng Boss SD1/OD1) the same color which blackdogg ordered from me. Its oven baked huwag lng ma scratch ng alanganin kc di naman ito power coat but i'm sure it would last longer in its state like my other DIY pedals. I can say may time ako ng 4days to build one unit this holiday. Hope we can schedule the date.

sir roger, may i ask if what type of caps are being used on the DEC? are those mylar or ceramic? t'was not indicated in the schematic diagram kase. thanks sir.

Oh yes definitely kailangan ko ng break so much workload and last Tuesday kakaalis lng ni misis UK abroad tataynanay ako 3years for my son and naghahanap ako ng kasambahay di ko kayang job/household works right now. Pero di bale tiis lng bilin ko lng kay misis pag nakaipon siya orderin niya sa G66 ang pangarap kong AxeFx Ultra

i spent 2 hours with my gt-10, grabe dami talaga magagawa sa kanya! astig! nasa honeymoon period pa rin kasi kami nito eh. napalitaw ko good distortion nya thru cd-in input ng guitar, astig sir roger ang lupet! and also i had a chance to read an article about gt-10 that when you are connecting it to an amp it is better to use stomps model nya so i tried it my self! nag manual set up ako sa gt-10 and just use the od/ds function, dun ako kumuha ng dirt sounds! astig! konting halo ng eq, reverb, delay and chorus! wow para na rin akong stomps with my manual setting!

astig! astig! astig! sino nagsabi na manipis ang tunog ng gt-10? mga tol tweak lang ng tweak!!! dami eq set ups ang makukuha nyo thru the net. I LOVE IT!

Thats the beauty of using SIM through POWER AMP lng(lalo na tube power amp). So mga comrade kung bibili rin kayo ng (investment)AMP be sure it has a serial loop RETURN and this is where it shine for sim before I never knew how valuable that is. KC in an analog we tend to go in front the traditional input against RACK unit which they recomment it. Second, make it higher in wattage like 65w pataas so the investment is for both home and live loud jam/gig. GT can't sing his song enough thru a lower watts IMO co'z you don't have enough headroom/cab and speaker size.. Pag pihit mo ng konting volume sa mga low wattage distorted na no clean room unlike those higher watts even 5-7 level.
Yes the OD/DS is a preamp itself. In reality (they) stompbox OD/DS is a preamp and has its own character like volume, tone(treble/mid/bass), drive and extra mojo parameters itself. Your Marshall preamp has its ownself charater signature tone din (Brown they said) a gusto ko Marshall ako gusto ko mesa boogie etc...we choose among what we love di ba. That is why when you connect it in front of the AMP preamp AGAIN (another character tone)your sound would be now compressed by both. It is because you are stacking two preamp. Just check it out with you stompboxes use two OD/DS in series one is distorted the other set clean di ba manipis ang sound compressed KC co'z the signal passes two different electronic circuit before it goes out also it tend to feedback paglalakasan mo volume nila it makes sense di ba. This is why some say di ko ma control feedback sa GT and this is one of the reason. Once more there is NO rule of the thumb if you can work it out love the TONE your in NIRVANA

ask lang sirs...ano general gripe ng Boss GT-10 users na selling theirs
why they are selling their units...which i notice after a short time
of having the GT10 in their hands, at the most mga 2 months or more
they feel its digitally sounding than the separate stomps
generally siguro they like the simplicity of stomp boxes
and dont like to tweak or find their tone
or maybe the heavy weight of the multifx, which for a
giging musician is too heavy to lug around.

Based on many reviews and this is subjective to the user and not opinion to almost.
Digital Aliasing - this is inherent to multiFx but some say its worst in GT10 specially in highgain and distortion sim models but not in overdrive and clean models. The results its fizzy high plus complaint on chord strum with no clarity on highgain but to some distortion model gives acceptable level. This lead to need extensive/extended tweaking by the user in search for elusive true authentic highgain modelling (analog) sound but unattainable due to hindered and masked heavily by fizz/aliasing in the first place. This thwart the user and exhaust efford later give up

This finding is unanimous also at the BossGTcentral Forum which said if you're into highgain stuff GT10 is not for you. There's a solution... by using HARMONIC CONVERGER

Well I'm so sorry you and other never tried the solution and easily gave up...

Its similar to a stock stompbox you can modify it, make you way to have it work and I gave the solution already unto you then if thats still to no avail then you and I done everything our best. This is what the thread is for GT10 users thread remember
