Nakakalibang pag-aralan ang pagsetup ng strat! medyo stable na tuning ko kahit gamit ang trem.

Hmmm...I'm thinking of trying out skinny top heavy bottom or maybe even beefy...but I'm worried about screwing up everything.. just started learning basic guitar setup

Wala naman sir. Tamang setup lang rin. Though my main reason for tuning down half step is because I can sing most songs better pag medyo mababa ang key.

Don't be scared to screw it up bro. That's how we all learned.  :-D You remind me of the time I used to be scared to restring my locking trem Strat. Felt great when I screwed it up and then set everything up even better than before.

Which model of fender strats has the thinnest neck profile? Or should I say narrow neck profile? For easier thumb access for short fingers like mine.

I'm thinking of purchasing a fender strat. I'm accustomed to Ibanez and Yamaha thin necks, I would love to acquire a strat with a relatively thin neck for smoother transition.

Thanks guys!

^i don't have any inputs since I only have 1 strat hindi pa Fender   :-D

Just to share my string gauge hunt for Eb tuning
I ended up using the 3 high strings of Elixir 11-49 Nanoweb with the 3 low strings of Elixir 10-52 Optiweb
Action is higher than normal so it feels closer to an acoustic guitar's string tension than an electric guitar which i prefer
sobrang daming trial and error sa pagadjust ng springs, and ng saddle screws to get my preferred action then intonation was much easier
Dahil sa mas mataba na yun strings i had to scrape down some material off of the nut very carefully  :-\ but I intend to replace it in the future with a better quality

Also, I'm planning to replace the bridge block of my 60s CV strat, has anyone here done the same mod and which brand/model did you use?

Is the decal on a 2005 Fender highway one strat "erasable"? I decided to have the neck of my 05 highway one strat to be reliced because I thought it would look good with the vintage white finish. After the relicing process, the luthier "erased" some parts, but not all, of the Fender decal and a very very small part on the serial number but can still be read completely. Well, it definitely looked as if it's vintage, which is the very reason for the relicing.

Is the Fender decal on Highway ones, erasable?
