Ernie ball Paradigm strings
« on: January 21, 2017, 08:20:03 PM »

The world's most advanced guitar strings
are coming March 1, 2017

PARADIGM strings feature superior break-resistance and unparalleled durability while delivering iconic Slinky tone. Over the course of the past few months, ERNIE BALL has been offering guitarists the opportunity—and challenge—to beta-test PARADIGM. Among those who tried—and failed—to break the strings are Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Dream Theater’s John Petrucci.

kamusta naman corrosion? nasasayangan ako sa ernieball strings. less than a week lang corroded na sakin, I hope this new set addresses that problem apart from being "break resistant".

I hope the pricepoint is lower than Elixirs. I've found good results with Fender pure nickel's (PHP 399.00) even though it is also manufactured by D'Addario. For some reason, the D'Addario XLs rust quicker than the Fenders lol.

if you want budget strings that last as long as EB Slinky's and D'Addario XLs, check out Darco strings by C.F. Martin. 180 petot lang pero ayus na.

Probably super OT but I also recommend Fender strings. I stopped playing for 2 years. Left my guitar with Fender strings on it's rack untouched. Literal na after 2 years it only had some signs of corrosion pero overall playable pa din. D'addarios rust pretty quick. 1 week ko lang di magalaw guitar medyo nagsisimula na.

Paradigm strings won't break or rust. If they do, we'll replace them absolutely free.

I'll give it a try.

Guarantee is supposedly up to 9 months after purchase, so it's not a forever thing, but if it really delivers on its promise, then it's good news for heavy-handed players, and all guitarists in general.

Deliberately make it break before the 9-month duration so you can get a fresh set that will last another 9 months or so...for free! haha.

Anybody who can attest if it's true that coated strings shortens the lifespan of the fret wires?
