if you're a beginner to the world of photography (as in, everything) then you should start with a cam that's friendly for beginners, like the D40 or D40x.

D40 is really ok... and relatively cheaper. as low as 20k nalang yata kit ngayon sa hidalgo.

better check first if you're comfortable with the weight and size. baka kasi mas hiyang yung kamay mo sa D80 or something else.
