Help with Extrapolation (John Mclaughlin)

parang super locrian mode ang ginamit or try melodic minor over BAssC.. superlocrian mode kasi yung  D/C-E/C.. or acording ksi sa coda pwede rin Lydian scale of C..

 cguro kung may record mas madaling i-analyze din.. no key given din papunta ng solo, pero tignin ko mclaughlin yan he's using locrian din sa solo part, or fuion guitarists fave scale na half-dim scale..

share ko lng , marami pang iba dito maka-explain ng maayos.. just my piso cent..

i mean, what progression do you use sa solos 

you mean alam mo na yung scales na gagamitin without knowing the chords?

i mean i know which scales to use over the chords in the song if we were to play the whole song over for the solos O_O

pero i mean which section do we use as the solo vamp? The coda?

ah ok. sorry i misunderstood. i think they were soloing over the form (AABA.) in other words, same chords as the head of the tune. pero ill listen to it repeatedly over the weekend just to make sure. i dont have access to my guitar, violin, or organ as of this moment kaya i cant really be certain.

yep im almost positive they're soling over the form. sarap pala i-jam to ha. tagal ko na di pinakinggan yung extrapolation CD. di pa kasi ganun ka-developed sense of melody ni pareng john. jam natin to sir. wujatink?
