Using a USB HUB
« on: October 08, 2014, 10:01:47 AM »
Meron ba sainyo gumagamit ng USB hub for interface, HDD, MIDI controllers, mouse, etc.? Limited kasi pag laptop eh 2 ports lang sakin. Balak ko kasi magkaron ng external HDD, kaya lang kelangan ko rin ng port for cooling pad, mouse, interface.. and in the future kung magkakaron ng midi controller..

For 2 usb ports, pwede kaya yung hindi powered na hub for say cooling pad and interface in a "2 in one" hub? then another hub for the mouse and hdd?

ill-advised gumamit ng hub for your interface bro kasi bukod sa may power needs na kailangan ma-meet ang Interface to function properly, may latency issues din sa paggamit ng hub as I've been reading in some tech sites.

kung 2 ports lang, my advise is to plug the interface directly into the powered USB Port. and then nasa HUB nalang ang mouse, cooling pad at HDD mo. though your HDD might not be powered as well dahil may power requirement din siya.

get a powered hub na siguro for the other devices. pero kung yung interface, best to plug direct into the laptop.
