PC vs Console Gaming

Which one do you prefer? Budget should be a consideration here. Me, I'd go with consoles, partly because I'm a cost prohibitive kind of guy   Plus, with PC's, every now & then a kick-ass game will come along with kick-ass requirements. I'm still gassing for a good PC though..  

My take is Xbox360 for flight or racing game, PC for the rest of the games I played. Mas enjoy ako sa PC

- more powerful platform. madalas mas magaganda ang PC version ng games in terms of graphics, physics, sound etc. pwera na lang kung naunang dinevelop for console tapos ni-port to PC. lalo na kung tamad yung nagport, madalas ang sagwa ng kinalalabasan ng PC version (pero meron din namang cases na mas nagiging maayos although konti lang ang improvement over console version).
- controls. mas masarap maglaro ng FPS sa KB + mouse. kung gusto mo ng gamepad, pwede rin naman sa PC.

ang advantage lang ng console, IMO....sa console, game developers ang magsscale sa capability ng hardware. bili ka na lang ng game at laro na lang ng laro. samantalang sa PC, lalo na pag tinamad ang developers na ioptimize ang codes, parang "sige pwede na yan, pag di kinaya ng specs nila eh di magupgrade sila".

Ang console malalaro sa HD TV, mas feel ang gaming experience.

Ang kalaban naman ng PC ay lag, requirements, installations, virus, etc.
 
Voted for consoles.  

Para sakin hindi naman ata kalaban ng PC ay lag at malalaro mo din yung PC game sa HD TV, kung may HDMI yung VideoCard mo. May mga laro lang talaga sa Console na hindi ni-rerelease sa PC, yun yung ayaw ko.

recenlty lang yung Wii namin na inuwi namin from U.S., nalaro lang ng bunso namin for a day, then kinabukasan ata siya at sinaksak niya agad sa outlet without running it through the AVR, toasted..

kaya PC nalang ako. upgrade nalang ng Video card ok na.

May kani-kaniya kasing advantage at disadvantage eh. Sa PC, Newer games must have greater hardware. "tweak"-able. How you control the game (which in console, MOSTLY daliri lang.) Sa consoles, most of the newer games can play on old hardware, (i can play newer games with my psp phat.) and so on. . .

Pero gusto ko yung fighting games sa console (tekken and the likes) also, yung mga shooter games, mas prefer ko sa PC, syempre mas madali i-control.
