The super group finally comes out with their song
During the past weeks, the music industry has been rocked by a series of intriguing rumors that certain members of hotshot bands plan to make the big move and try out something new and different.
Just a few days ago, several of the country’s top radio stations gve airplay to a song titled “Ang Sarap Dito.” People reckon that the rumored band musicians, who were spotted rehearsing a new song together, were deemed the people behind this hot track.
The members of Project 1 have finally come out and set the record straight so that the public may know what’s behind this new development in their careers. Raymund Marasigan, former E-heads member turned Sandwich lead vocalist, assured their loyal fans that they have not really left their respective bands. “The new group was formed because we, as artists, feel that we wanted to create something fresh, especially for the young generation. We all believe in a common goal of being positive and changing the way young people think. That was why the song “‘Ang Sarap Dito’” was born,” he clarifies.
The song “Ang Sarap Dito” is an uplifting composition that invites the youth to look at the brighter side of life, and be happy with what we all have. “There’s so much negativity around us and hopefully, this song can change they way we view and perceive life,” Marasigan adds.
Aside from Marasigan, other members of Project 1 are Katwo Puertolano of Nada, Carlos Calderon of Chicosci, Francis Reyes of The Dawn, Clem Castro of Camera Walls, Uela Basco of Chillitees and Jazaa Nicolas of Itchyworms.
Reyes puts it perfectly, “There are a lot of reasons why we should be happy, and this song sort of captures that feeling.”
