Purchasing music for indie bands
« on: November 28, 2011, 12:38:44 PM »
Hi everyone,

I'm not sure where to post this, so for mods, please feel free to move this thread.

I'm in the process of validating a web app/business idea that may help indie bands, or any bands/musicians without record labels to distribute and earn from their music.

Do you think a system like CDBaby (http://cdbaby.com) -- a site that will host, share and allow online, downloadable mp3 purchases -- will work here in the Philippines? The whole idea is to create an channel for distributing their music that is otherwise not available if we rely on record labels.

Your thoughts please.
