its doesnt sound like a peavey or a mesa, sounds close to a marshall with more grid without any fizz
. in short it has its own sound. Distortion is so clear, even in high gain, u cud hear every string. Wud sound better for sure if tested on its matchin cab

@ Sir Chino: Di po kasi balance yung tunog nung pickups ko. Stock lang po ung Neck Pickup. Upgrade ko na po pareho para wala na pong problema sa "What's your pickup? What's your amp?" when it comes to buying overdrive/modulation pedals.

Sa akin lang ha, if you've already grasped what you want to hear, there would be no need to change anything else. It doesn't matter kung stock yan or hindi branded, as long as nakukuha mo yung gusto mong tunog. Hindi naman lahat ng pickup swaps ay considered na "upgrades" eh, rather, it will change your sound, you may or may not like it when you do it. Again, just my friendly opinion.

With regards to the "what's your pickup? what's your amp?" questions, syempre kailangan muna ng background ccheck kung ano ba ang scenario bago mag recommend ng kung ano-ano.. para hopefully, mai-match dun sa query mo yung suggestions nila. There's nothing i\wrong in saying na stock pickups pa or what not.

Thank you po Sir Chino sa inyo pong recommendation/response.

I want more power po kasi dun sa Neck pickup ko, more bite.
Tsaka di ko po maibalance yung tunog/power po nung neck sa bridge although natweak ko na po yung Pickup height pareho.
Naka Dimarzio FRED na po kasi yung bridge ko eh. Ilipat ko na lang po sa Neck pag nakakuha po ako ng Tone Zone.

"What's your amp? What's your pickup?" Ibig ko po sabihin sir chino na ok na po yung guitar and amp ko, ung para po bang di na po siguro ako makakakuha ng "change your pickup, upgrade your amp" na response po sir, minimal na lang po. Para po bang makafocus na lang po ako dun sa pedals sa sound na gusto ko pong maachieve.

Guys anyone ever used Blackstar HT Dist? not the distx

i've been reviewing this pedal since i heard that it matches the new Ibanez JD9, but not sure yet, still looking for answers, havent tried them both kasi
