Yup. Mga 10 - 15 minutes lang ang itinatagal bago sumakit ang balikat ko. Lalo na sa Jaguar na mas mabigat sa Tele.

I hate Japan. Dammit, I could get two of these. One in black, one in blue, then I'd swap the pickguards. DAMMIT.

^ yeah that's crazy and it doesn't make sense at all considering they are being assembled in Cavite - it's like meeting this pretty japayuki neighbor that you can't date or marry or f*...(you know what I mean)  :-D...it'll be weird to order this overseas with all the goddamn shipping costs and taxes

btw guys it's really cool that we've all been involved and active in this thread since late last year. we've already reached the 27th page. I started posting here when it was still in the 11th page(that's the time when Bart, Saturn/Return, echo_ikaw, RJ were still very active) then at some point the thread died and had to try and make it alive again....It's good that there are local rockers(francis, richard - my POGI brothers and others) being passionate with this and it's also cool that Bart's back with his new and modified jag. that kind of diy passion is inspiring.... keep 'em coming guys

Nat, tell us about your collection..characteristics of each..sino ba si #1 dyan?..sino may sweetest tone? stories behind them..and other cool and interesting stuff..sharing time na guys!

By order of purchase:
#1 Fender Jaguar ('99) - Crafted in Japan

#2 Squier Super Sonic - Vista Series('97) - Crafted in Japan

#3 Fender Toronado GT HH ('05) - Made in Korea

I really love the finish on the Japanese necks. The Jaguar was restored with the classic upper control assembly because I bought it with a modified toggle switch(hence bought it cheaper) on the upper horn area. I had it restored through Guitar Hospital(Sir Arie). It has that more feminine tone and produces some weird noises and feedback probably due to these single coils on it. I love using this on the cleaner and softer sounds and is aesthetically the prettiest among the 3 guitars. It's good for the delay/reverb-y sounds(shugeeezzzzing). The Super Sonic has that unique & attractive blue sparkle finish and it looks very Japanese with this finish(the finish is somewhat similar to Flea's Modulus Bass IMHO). The body also feels and looks smaller. Many believed that it is just a reverse version of a jag/jazzy body but it's not. It has that natural heavy tone having these stock humbuckers(SD Designed - I think it's made in South Korea). It's also thick and blends well with distortion. I love using this for garage/post-hardcore stuff. The Toronado(d' metulz guitar) has surprisingly the best tone for me because of the stock Seymour Duncan pickups('59 in the neck and Pearly Gates at the bridge). This guitar is closest to the Gibson tone. Its sound is ideal for heavier power chord riffing and shredding stuff. It is also literally the heaviest among the three in terms of weight due to the mahogany body(that's in my opinion). I'm so tempted to modify the guitar because I'm not that contented with the neck's finish and the abalone inlays suck(looks a cheapskate with this) The Korean construction is also okay but the materials and components used look really cheap. The Super Sonic and the Toronado's discontinued.

Now the tricky part: How I got these? No I didn't get these for free  :-D....keywords: credit card, ebay, paypal, manilaforwarders, stack of cold cash with blood, timing & patience

Rumor has it that the Super-Sonic was inspired by that photo of Jimi Hendrix playing an upside down Jazzmaster.

I so want a Super-Sonic. But they're asking crazy money for one of those now.

sir, why was the E string (and by the looks of it, some of the strings too) on this pic of your jm isn't seated on their saddles?
or is it only the angle of the photo, strings are slacked? just curious.  :)

awesome gear btw.  :-D

^oo nga pansin ko yung sinasabi mo but anyway this is from the old pics posted in ebay before ko nabili. di naman siya ganito sa actual. also, it's a jaguar not a jazzmaster

oo nga e rumor daw but I feel that it's smaller than the usual Jazzmaster body kahit baliktad
