After reading the manual of my Olympus FE-340 and surfing the net for additional info, was not lucky enough as this model don't have the auto bracketing capabilities..haY!! buhay nga naman! seldom you find something interesting but it turns out hindi nakikiayon ang tadhana... :-( :-( :-(

well, you dont NEED auto exposure bracketing. you can still do this without that. yun nga lang, manual. pero kaya :)

Kung kaya mo ng walang tripod, bro. Pero make sure di bababa ng 1/60 yung shutter speed mo or malakas ang ambient or available light mo otherwise shaky yung image mo. Another factor is if your subject is far and you need to zoom-in. Better if you'd take the pic with 50mm or or a wider lens (that is assuming it's a DSLR). :-)

share ko lang po kung pano ko ginawa yung HDR image ko...

first, i set my camera into AV mode(aperture priority)
and AEB mode (Auto Exposure Bracketing) yung AEB po will give you 3 different exposure shots, meaning may underexposed, neutral and overexposed images.

then i merged it with this HDR software called Photomatix http://www.hdrsoft.com/ then adjust niyo nalang yung desired look ng image niyo.

try it, it's fun! then share niyo nalang yung picture para makita namin yung result... i hope nakatulong ako! :-)
ayun a get ko na rin yung AEB.. tatlong beses pla yung pindot ng shutter... :-D

At last after ng magdamag kong pagpupuyat...downloaded tone mapping filter for PS7.0 and a sample image from Photofix Site (hope it's ok that I used their image for educating myself purposes lang naman eh) this is what I finished though alam ko malayong malayo pa ako from what it is supposed to be... wala lang pinagpuyatan ko po kaya sana pag-gising ko may destructive ay! constructive critism na!!!...ha..ha..ha.. pls. direct me more....

The image I used..

What i have done...
]

Sa tingin ko over ang mapping ko kaya lang antok na ko...try ko uli mamaya
Also cut out the subject from the background put it in another window and apply different tone mapping then incorporate ko uli sila...

Hay!..sarap paganahin ang mind!!!...

it's really better to shoot with a tripod. ESPECIALLY for shots that will be edited this way. it's really hard to keep your hands still for shots like this. minsan wala ka ngang camera shake, but the framing isn't perfect naman. also, one thing to point out is to use the lowest ISO setting you can. the max ISO i use is 200. sometimes 400 pero exag na yung noise sa ganung setting when it's either tone mapped of hdr'd (is that even a word?).

ayun a get ko na rin yung AEB.. tatlong beses pla yung pindot ng shutter... :-D

usually nga ganun but depende din sa settings mo sa camera. minsan kasi, i just put the camera on timer mode on the tripod para sure na walang shake talaga. pag ganun, automatic na ginagawa ng camera :)

starmark: ok yung image mo. pero parang bitin ako sa highlights. i dunno if it's just my monitor. but the contrast seems too little. pero syempre personal preference na yun :) just sharing my 2 cents.

point and shoot lang na camera gamit ko diyan. tapos shoot sa normal na exposure tapos adjust ko na lang sa photoshop para sa underexposed at overexposed na picture  :-)
