I agree with sir onori, radiant rock or murathan series pwede din, although mas mahal yung murathan.

mga chif lalo sa taga lazer pa post or pm naman po ng sets ng istanbul cymbals, salamat ng marami po

ito saka sabian xs20 pinag pipilian ko whehe

sir tempting ang xs20 dahil b20 bronze din sila, but they're machine made and hammered, so isip kang mabuti...i'm leaning towards istanbul...but it's your choice in the end...

ito ang mga available na Istanbul mehmet sa LAZER MUSIC.

Traditional series = The Traditional Series sound is suited for pretty much every style of music imaginable. The classic concept of these fully lathed cymbals has proven its value through the years. From the earliest jazz drummers and bebop pioneers, to heavy metal and the latest stylistic evolutions, the Traditional Series encompasses the sounds you’re looking for. Dark. Responsive. Controllable. Musical.

= Traditional ride custom dry 20", Exceptional low over tone, loud cutting bell.
= Traditional dark crash 16" and 18", Fast crash, fast response, dry sound.
= Traditional medium hi-hat 10", Clear, precise, tight sound.
= Traditional heavy hi-hat 10", Extra power and projection, sharp cutting sound.
= Traditional splash 6", 8" and 10", Short, full bodied, fast response.

Jazz line = Jazz Line cymbals designed for todays jazz drummers. Models include: Nostalgia, Mehmet Legend, Legend Dark and Origin Dark
= Nostalgia 50's ride 20", Dark, woody stick definition, bigger and sharper bell than 70’s, umbrella type profile. Excellent vintage sound reminiscent of the legendary 50’s Turkish jazz ride. Rivet model comes with four rivets. Warm, semi-dry wash of freshy traditional tone. Clear bell sound.
= Mehmet legend ride 20" and 22", Smaller cup, special thin lathing and legendary Turkish cymbal making process. Mehmet Legend cymbals were specially designed for jazz styles with the contribution of jazz drummers. Rich, warm and natural, crystal clear tone.
= Mehmet legend crash 18", Dry, tonally rich crash sound. Rideable.

Origin series = Smaller cup with smooth profile. Medium weighted Origin cymbals designed for general use and a variety of styles. Musical. Open. Versatile rich sound for today’s music.
= Origin dark ride 20" and 24", Low pitched, widespread, and hauntingly dark overtones.
= Origin dark hi-hat 13" and 14", Low pitched, washy.

Turk series = Unlathed cymbals with a raw surface clearly showing every hammer mark which created the compact sound of these instruments. Meant for drummers who want that dry and compact sound, yet keeping the wide array of low overtones that’s so specific to hand hammered cymbals. For Rock, Jazz and everything inbetween. Dry. Compact. Raw. Controlled. Musical.

=Turk jazz ride 22", Jazz Ride has smoother and lower than regular model. Light weight and low profile bell for washy, dark sound and clear stick sound.
=Turk medium hi-hat 12" and hi-hat 14", Dry, dark, clear stick sound.

Radiant rock series = Radiant Series cymbals are heavier than the Traditional Series. easily in most pop ⁄ rock situations. Penetrating sound. Ideal for most pop ⁄ rock cymbal needs.

= Radiant rock ride 20", Powerfull high cutting sound with bright bell.
= Radiant rock crash 16 and 18", High volume so punchy.
= Radiant rock hi-hat 14", Powerfull and long tone with open volume
= Radiant splash 8" and 10", Fast, with the dark touch of tone.
= Radiant china 16" and 18", Exotic, powerfull and full sound.
= Radiant holey crash 14'', 16" and 18", Medium Thin Crash with holes. Trashy crash sound. Less sustain.

Radiant sweet series = This cymbal series pairs thick tone and powerful projection with traditional Turkish quality., most for rnb, pop and rock.

= Radiant sweet ride 20", Wonderfull warm tone, enhanced stick definition.
= Radiant sweet crash 16" and 18", Very musical sound, short sustain, medium pitch.
= Radiant sweet hi-hat 14", Light combinations, quick fast reponce.

Samatya series = Modern, brilliant, fast, power sound for Pop&Rock music.
= Samatya ride 20", Modern, brilliant, warm sound.
= Samatya crash 16" and 18", Bright, fast and full bodied crash sound.
= Samatya hi-hat 14", Full, crisp, open and dry stick sound.
= Samatya china 16", Bright, exotic tone.

Murathan series = These cymbals have a loud, powerful, crisp and cutting sound for you Heavy Hitters, Rock, Heavy Rock and heavy metal players in loud situations. Polished to a brilliant finish. Loud. Powerful. Crisp. Cutting.
= Murathan ride 20", Loud, great stick definiton, minimal overtone.
= Murathan crash 16'' and 18", Dark, full explosive crash with extra durability.
= Murathan rock hi-hat 14", Powerfull, loud and cutting.

Funky series = brassy, ballsy and bright sonic colors. strangely quiet yet bright.
= Funky medium ride 20", Focused warm tone, clear stick sound.
= Funky crash 16" and 18", Solid attack, explosive and dynamic.
= funky medium hi-hat 12" and 14", Tight stick responce, crisp foot sound.

Sultan series = Sultan cymbals are a combination of the Traditional and the Turk Series. The sound has unique brilliant characteristics of the Traditional cymbal sounds and the dry&woody sound of the unlathed Turk cymbal series. The top of the cymbal has an unlathed cup producing a strong, compact bell sound and an unlathed concentric circle on the bow reducing overtone and drying the sound. The bottom of the cymbal is completely lathed. Mellow tone. Great stick definition. Controlled overtones.

= Sultan medium ride 20", Controllable, rich sounding, nice for recording.
= Sultan medium crash, 16", 17" and 18", Full and loud crash sound.
= Sultan hi-hat 14", Definite, dry, dark, very warm and musical.

Experience series = X-Jazz Fusion: Uncluttered but energetic sound that suits dynamic playing techniques. X-Cast: Dark and low overtones with punchy highs and mids with a lower sustain level. X-Metal: High volume, distortion and energy! X-FX: Effect cymbals with rivets.

X-cast medium ride 20" and 21"
= X-cast medium crash 15", 16" and 17".
= X-cast medium hi-hat 14".

X-Jazz heavy ride 21".
= x-Jazz medium crash 16",17" and 18".
= X-Jazz hi-hat 14" and 15".

X-FX
= Xperience flat bell 9".
= Xperience Rubbish crash 16".

COMING SOON...

Session series = were designed to merge the classic Traditional series with modern Radiant series. The mellow sound of Traditional cymbals blend with the bright, attack sound of Radiant for a medium weight, versatile, all-around cymbal. The cymbal has a brilliant, polished area from the bell to the half section of the edge and traditional finish for the rest. Session series hi-hats have a raw heavy bottom for a crisp sound. The ride cymbal has a power bell that is a little bit larger than usual. Also, the new china designed for the session series has a distinctive profile with a wide reverse edge for trashy effect. We recommend session series for todays players who play varied musical gigs and need versatile cymbals.

= Session ride 20", 21" and 22", Large bell, clear bell sound, ping, great stick sound.
= Session crash 16< 17", 18" and 19", Medium weighted for better projection.
= Session hi-hat 14" and 15", Heavy raw bottom, medium top. Clear stick sound. Good foot sound.

Meron almost 8K for the 16" size. wala pa sila anything larger than that. Dry and brash yung tunog, more "pang" sounding IMO.

Ay ganun po ba.... Gusto ko sana 18" or 20" para darker yung tunog, bagay sa mga breakdowns  :-D
So mejo mahal pala siya compared sa china ng Radiant.  :-(
