ahh yes, talagang different folks, different strokes, hehe. ako i actually like the throaty sound of the 000-15, hehe. kaya mas gusto ko small body. kanya kanyang tastes lang yan ika nga, hehe. i've yet to try the santa cruz acoustics. oo nga eh i think puro prewar ang style nila ng pag-build ng guitars, or sa prewar edition lang yun? hehehe. sana talaga may magdistribute na ng blueridge guitars dito, hehe. na-try mo na ba yung mga yun dave?

regarding pledge, i dunno if it has any effect on the finish. pero i don't think it'll build up on the finish. best nalang siguro if you just wipe your guitar down with a soft piece of cloth (or pranela, 9 for 100, hehe) after you play it. i understand na you're going through the phase na super OC when it comes to your guitar, hehe. believe me pre, phase lang yan, hehe. everything will be different once your guitar gets its first "ding" hehehe. but then again, for me, "dings" are good kasi it sort of gives a guitar that "played-in" look, hehe. added character or as farseer would put it, "mojo" hehe. ayos yan pre. love your instrument, pero don't love it too much, hehehe. if you know what i mean...

  Siguro phase nga lang..But trust me, lahat ng gamit ko alagang-alaga.
May ding na nga sa likod eh. I don't mind slight damages on the guitar. Buti nang ma-damage because of constant use, rather than neglect.
Just got a hardcase kanina.

I don't want to be too careful with my guitar...di na enjoy pag tumutugtog kung ganun eh.

yup, hehe. i remember polishing my yamaha fgx-412 nun, mahal na mahal ko yun nun bro, hehe. ayaw ko pahawak. wala, pagkapolish ko sa kanya, pati ako ayaw ko nang galawin kasi malalagyan ng prints, hehe. what's the use of a shiny pristine condition guitar if you don't use it diba? hehe. so i learned my lesson, buy second hand. not only are the guitars worn in (or worn out, hehe) pero at least, pag second hand na, tapos maayos pa, yung sira nun, lumabas na. at least alam mo na the break-in stage of the guitar is done na. hehe

what brand hardcase did you get? how much and where? been thinking of getting one eh. for the longest time, hehehe. pero it's just hard to lug around a bulky hardcase as opposed to a gig bag. pero on the other hand, it's more convenient to flip open a hardcase than to zip up a gigbag, hehe.

Well, I was supposed to get a Gator GC-DREAD. But when I called up almost all the Audiophile branches, out of stock daw!

Instead, I went to AP Greenhills, & got an Ibanez hardcase for 3.6k.
I don't like the idea of carrying around something this heavy, but I got it because I go home to Bicol once in a while.

Oh yeah..masakit. Buti lang my CD burning sideline has been pretty strong. It's funny...when I was saving up for the hardcase, business was almost unbearable sa dami ng customers. When I was just about 500 pesos away from the 3.6k, humina bigla ang business.
Hoping to make a good comeback.

Why don't you consider a Gator GL-DREAD?
Head over to www.gatorcases.com
It's a pretty cool concept - a cross between a gig bag & hardcase. Basically you get *part* of the hardcase's protection, then you get the gig bag's weight.
Less than 3k lang.

Di ko na maalala kung saan ko nabasa, but you should bite an apple, or at least puncture it, put it in a punctured plastic bag and put that in the hard case along with your high-end acoustic. Can't remember if its to prevent it from drying up or to absorb moisture.

You can also buy dessicant silicon pellets sa refrigeration supply, then put that in punctured plastic bag, and put that in your guitar case. Now that will sip out excess humidity which can ruin your geetar.

preamp for acoustic? what's your pickup? pre i suggest the l.r. baggs para acoustic d.i. (it's bery bery nice, hehe) or the sansamp acoustic d.i. they're both great, hehe. sorry to fuel your gas, hehe. ang hirap talaga ng may gas, buti nalang nabili ko na ang ultimate gas ko (as of the moment, hehe)

I got a K&K Pure Western on my guit.

So far I am happy with my setup...

I tried the BlueRidge guitars ayus naman!

Based ako dito sa Singapore.

i think it was selling for Php 30-40K mga ganun lang ang presyo. pag binili walang case. gawa nga pla to ng china btw.

between ovation, takamine and blueridge eh obvious choice talaga pre, hehe. blueridge talaga. di ko na mashado trip ovation ngayon eh, medyo di mashadong resonant yung bowlback nya. blueridge talaga, hehe. pero takamine ayos din, hehe.

pangarap ko talaga ang martin, hehe. pero for more bang for the buck eh go blueridge nalang, mukhang maganda nga yung gospel guitar nila, pero sana meron silang rosewood version nun, hehe.

ayus yang 3M n pangpunas nde magagasgas an kahoy.
