quick question lang mga sir, do all pod HD boards work in the Philippines without any power transformer or something? im planning of getting one here in the US (and i am yet to go to the guitar store), so i dont know if the ones being sold here are compatible with our outlets there.

Hindi ba sa adaptor nalang yun magkakatalo? Kung pwede siya sa 110 at 220V.

May autovolt regulator ang psu ng mga HDs bro. Pwede mo gamitin from 100-240v power source kaya inshort pwede sa Pinas!!! Ang kagandahan pa sa psu ng mga HDs, hindi na siya transformer type na mabigat and bulky!!! Magaan na maliit na box nalang siya na parang masmalaki ng konti sa charger ng cellphone. Ang mahirap lang pagbumili sa labas ng bansa, kalimutan mo na yung salitang "warranty"!!!

what if i buy it here, mail the warranty papers and stuff, and if ever masira sa pinas, padala ko ulit sa states?

yes bro ipapadala mo uli sa store sa US kung saan mo nabili. Hindi tatanggapin ng Yupangco(nag-iisang distributor ng Line6 sa Pinas) yung warranty mo. Tatanggap lang sila ng service.

Natry ko bro kahapon lang dun sa isang studio kung saan kami nagpractice. Kaso sagwa nung ss amp na nagamit ko e. Yung parang 2x12 combo behringer amp na may built-in fx. Sabog yung amp tapos may reverb siya na di ko matanggal parang nagmalfunction na yung knobs ng built-in FX niya. SO far hindi ko nagustuhan. Hopefully matry ko HD500 sa harap ng solve na tube amp. Gusto ko rin kasi ma try na parang may M13 lang ako.

Ah. I see. Modelling amp ata yung Behringer na yun. Modelling amp + MFX (modelling unit) = not so good modelling. lol.

Gusto ko masubukan yang HD500 sa front ng tube amp. Mukhang "front friendly" siya kasi true bypass ang bypass niya. Relatively unusual for a multi-effects pero surprising na mayroon siya.

Maybe you can still capitalize sa voice at response ng tube amp while still having the expanded versatility of the mfx.

Medyo GT-10 versus HD500 ako ngayon eh. Hehe.

subjective talaga e no? kasi yung former bandmate ko from gt-10 lumipat pa sa g7. i mean g7 user sya tapos nag boss gt-10 for a year and a half. tapos bumalik ulit sya sa g7.1ut. O di ba? sa daming haters ng zoom pero imagine naka gt10 na pero why?

Yup. Subjective din talaga. Sayang, di ko lang matesting pareho. Cayle had a G7 before so I had a chance to use it din. He sold it though. Hehe. Pero I think I want something "better" (more pricey? lol.).

Di ko pa masyado nafifeel ang HD500 eh. Maganda sounds pero bagong unit kasi. Gusto ko pa mas makita kung ano mga nagagawa niya and/or issues. Parang ang plain ng itsura eh, parang ang daming nakatago. Yung GT-10 mukhang spaceship pero straightforward naman. lol.

I'll watch youtube vids for the meantime to get an idea how they sound sa harap ng mga de tubo. hehe.

Ilang ulit ko na nabasa yung support forum at napanood videos ng HD series, hopefully may idea na ko pag dating ng HD400 ko next week! I'll be experimenting on going direct to PA / effects loop / guitar input of an amp and karaoke! Try ko rin yung mga tube amps nung isang kaibigan ko, although sa tingin ko it won't work well pag direct sa guitar input / tube amps - unless i-off mo yung amp modeling feature, so parang M series na lang sya.

@Xelly, nasubukan mo na sa acoustic yung HD500 mo? Madalas ko rin gagamitin to sa acoustic ko, so iniisip ko pa kung pano timpla nun...
