Nabasa ko yung ganitong issue sa line 6 Forum, wala talagang Delay Trails if you'll gonna change from patch to patch, yung spillover lang ng delay is By 1 patch alone.

true bro, i recalled even the boss me30 and 33's has delay spillover from patch to patch given that you have enabled the delay effect on your next patch as well

yeah, galing ako sa boss me-33... but mas ok na yung ganito, kasi, walang kasing bilis mgpalit ng patch tong HD500. unlike Me-30 and Me-33, parang may mili-seconds gap, which is annoying for me..

im posting my pod hd 500 on ebay as it seems like the UI is not friendly to me, and the HD300 seems to be more appropriate. :p

I just got my POD HD300...

I know HD500 is a monster, but HD300 would do ok for me, considering its benefits:price ratio.

Para sa akin bro depende sa kung anong pwede ibigay ng supplier. Pero pinaka-solve sa akin in terms of tone is straight to PA. Pinakamadali naman(or kapag tinatamad na ako) is straight to amp. So sa HD500 ko may directory ako na lahat ng patches ko is tweaked na pang straight to PA tapos may isa nanamang directory na straight to amp. May one time may gig ako na isa lang guitar amp eh dalawa kaming guitarista. Ayun buti may malaking keyboard amp dun ako sumaksak solve!!! Basta kailangan mo lang maisetup ng tama yung settings ng HD500 mo ayon sa kung anong setup gusto mo. Hopefully nakatulong.

I use it mostly straight to amps/power amps, but from time to time - if we employ more instruments (wind, other string instruments), I go straight to PA. Ang problema sa direct to PA, di mo masyado "feel" yung tone through the monitors, iba pa rin pag may amp na maingay at tumutulak. But for the audience, it's easier on the ears, and for good sound techs, it's easier to adjust. Bottomline - your application, your choice.

And yeah, you have to change the settings (there are also switches where you select - live, studio amp etc..) you can tweak to your preference.

Sure, that's what I intend to do. Pero I have a noob question, what software do you use to do recording while your PODHD is connected to your computer (through the USB cable)? Is Garageband good enough?

nagtaas ng almost 20 percent street price ng hd, di ko alam kung bakit, kaya mabenta ko man hd500 konti lang masasave ko para sa hd300, pretty much pointless kapatid. HUHU.

I have another noob question (been only a Line 6 user since Nov 2010):

Currently, whenever I use my POD HD300 with my Spider IV, I plug it on the CD/MP3 Line-In so to disable the modeling/amplification capabilities of the Spider IV. In other words, I am just merely using the Spider IV's celestion speaker and that's all.

What I am thinking is that, instead of making my Spider IV practically useless, I wanted to set a channel on the Spider IV with a setting that is similar to the CD/MP3 Line-In (no amplification and modeling at all). I want this so that I can easily shift from using the POD HD300 to the other 3 channels of the Spider IV (and disabling the effects of POD HD300).

Your help will really be appreciated! Sorry rin if ever I used the wrong terms...

Hindi ko lang sure bro sa Spider IV kung pwede mo ibypass yung amp sim nun para parang Line-in din yung setup pero in solve na talaga yung line-in nung Spider IV!!
