So far so good naman. Well see how my experiment goes within a months worth. I feel great and my energy level is super high.

@panterica - hey, wala pa kong time to ask for the shipping info, but his week looks promising. maybe I can send na the stuff this week.

I need more workouts for my pectoralis minor saka yung muscle group ng tricep close to the armpit.

Me problema nga pala ako. I can't do any abs execercise, kasi nag-ka-cramps ang tiyan ko. Ano kayang solusyon dito?
Bakit hindi ka pwedeng mapuyat sa umaga?

woohoo! excited na ko sa supplements ko bryan, hehehe.

btw, when i do abs exercises, nararamdaman kong malapit na mag-cramps, then tigil lang ako ng 30 seconds, tapos tuloy uli. i do 30 reps, 3 sets sa abs exercises.

ilang lbs ba binebench mo bro? ilang sets at ilang reps? start light, 3 sets of 12 reps, tapos dagdag weight, 3 sets of 10 reps, then dagdag uli, 3 sets of 8 reps.

di ko pa nga kaya mag-dip eh hehehe.

got them. I'll shop for shipping tomorrow. sobrang daming work kasi.

I just did legs today. Alam ko sasakit yun bukas. My pecs are showing na, hehe. With just one week of continous workout. I'm very excited na. Nakakaligtaan ko na nga lang mag-ensayo ng guitar. Nag-jam kami last Sat., sumakit ang wrists ko. Ang hirap ng jazz riffs, hehe.

@guitaricci- do your obliques with a weighted ball or 5-10 lb. weights. hammer curls, skull crushers, seated flyes, wrist rolls.

use this technique to heal faster. get a lot of ice, then boil some water. do cold compress for about an hour, then wet a towel with hot water, tapos balutin mo for about 20 minutes. elevate you ankle afterwards for a couple of hours, then do it again. nag-spasm lang kasi ang ligaments mo, so it needs to harden (with the ice), then loosen the knots (warm compress). take ibuprofen kung hindi pa mawala, mas mabilis gagaling to. don't take it kung me allergy ka. gamit ka ng omega pain killer din.

wow, 1 week straight workout? sakit non ah heheheh, leg and shoulder day ko ngayon, on the way to the gym now.

question, ok lang ba uminom ng naproxen (flanax) to relieve from the pain? mas matapang ata naproxen sa ibuprofen eh. dati kasi ibuprofen ang flanax eh. pansin ko ngayon pag masakit ulo ko, pag inom ko ng bagong flanax, sandali lang wala na yung headache hehehe.

mukhang ang lakas ng pump ng superset, tinry ko sa biceps, after ng 3 sets, ramdam na ramdam yung pagka-pump ng biceps ko.

im a fitness first member.. meron dn ba dito? kelangan ko ng kasabay sobrang natatamad na ako.

tumigil na ko ng 2 months coz went out of d country nung bakasyon and parang ngayon after class feeling ko pagod na ko para magwork out pero actually tamad lang.hihi  hirap kc magstart ulit pag tinigil eh. pero before that i went almost everyday.
the more i drink,i want you more and more and more...

Haaay ngayon lang ulit ako makapag buhat after almost 2 weeks ng paglalakad sa enrollment. hirap talaga ng matagal nag-stop  sa pagaaral :-D

Ey bro musta abs mo ok na ba? baka kulang ka lang sa salts, yun kasi usually yung nakaka cause ng cramps e. Try mo gatorade..

Can't have much salt, kasi I want to get ripped by December. Having a lot of sodium makes you retain water. It still hurts pag-nag crunches ako, so I do other core exercises. I stayed away from Gatorade since I paid attention to the label. Gatorade uses HFC's (High Fructose Corn Syrup). Its worse than sugar. Not only it gives you fake energy, if you don't stay active it becomes fat residue, blech...

I now drink Vitamin Water, so much better. Only 13 grams of sugar.

@Abie - hey, don't think like that. Think like this. Bring your workout clothes already. After class, just plan that you're just going to the gym for 15 minutes and do a very light cardio. If you have an MP3 player, set it up so you have a workout playlist that you look forward to listening while sweating out the debris of the day. Next day, or next work out, schedule and plan ahead. Do exercises that you like doing.

For me I love killing my arms and chest. I hate cardio, kasi andaming gumagamit, so madumi na ang equipment or a little smelly (you can imagine that right...). Madalas, pila pa ang mga tao, so it discourages me.

One of my experiments that I am doing right now is compound supersets. Its lifting weights non-stop for about 2 hours. Not only do I maximize my workout, I also have a cardio workout without actually doing cardio. I've just been doing it since last week Monday, and I have doubled my strength, my pecs are showing and my shoulder gained half an inch. I hope I can do this until the end of the year.

Motivation is hard to find, if you do find something that makes you want to do things, stick to it.

Ako kasi, my bestfriend passed away recently. He wasn't exactly the epitome of a health freak. Since his death was caused by a disease, I'm working out now to be disease proof. That's my motivation.

@panterica, never tried naproxen. change of plan nga pala dun sa package mo, johnny air is expensive din. I have one more alternative.

sabi sa mims, mas matapang daw naproxen sa mefenamic, pansin ko lang nung ininom ko yung flanax, hindi sya nakakasakit ng sikmura, unlike mefenamic acid, kahit ata busog ka masakit pa rin sa sikmura.

btw, nakuha mo yung checklist ng items bryan? nireply ko sa pm mo sa kin. if not, here are the stuffs:

2 amino 6000's
1 nitrotech hardcore 4lbs.
1 giant megamass 4000 9.85lbs.

it runs in the family, hehe. daming marunong ng instrumento sa min. bahala ka na how you want to present it to my mom.

the company is Star Kargo - affiliate to ng ABS-CBN international. I use them a lot to send balikbayan boxes to my mom.

I lost 9 lbs. in 1 1/2 weeks haha.

sabi ng dad ko kagabi, sobra daw nagiging bulky yung muscles ko, tigilan ko daw ang protein, hehe.

Anyway tinitingnan ko kangina yung back muscle ko sa web cam (with the assistance of my brother  :-)) mas defined sha ng di hamak kesa yung nasa avatar ko ngayon  :-D haay at least masaya ako may pay off ang hard work sa gym. six pack na lang kulang ko, wanpak pa e  :lol:

yes miss aBie kelangan para mas humaba ang buhay... OT: mukhang tan na tan tayo ah   :mrgreen:

experiment ko eto: (pero hindi ko sasabihin lahat). Stress and strain test. Di ba sabi masama daw ang 7 days a week na straight workout. dapat 4 days lang, para me chance na mag-recover and muscles. i asked a marine how they train. they train everyday. lalo na pag hardcore, they do it straight for 16 - 18 weeks. they are RIPPED to the core. about 2-4% body fat.

I don't want that, di naman ako body builder. gusto ko lang na balanse ang itsura ko. my face gets thin easily. I build my arms fast. my calves are strong. ang abs ko, that's anothe story, hahaha.

stress test: all upper body exercise in 1 day. 5 per muscle group, 25 reps (or until i can't pump anymore), 4 sets.

strain test: alternating upper body and lower body between days. meaning, upper body today, lower body bukas, so my upper body recovers and build muscle, and vice versa.

both: the DeLorme technique, incorporated with the pyramid technique and my own, hehe.

De Lorme - army training type - bale 3 sets of ten. pyramid - lift light at first, then increase weight gradually. my own - lift until the muscle is exhausted.

doing these, during the first 30 minutes, it feels like, parang gusto mo ng umuwi at mahiga na lang. after that, your endorphines kicks in, serotonin and testosterone levels skyrockets, and wouldn't you know it, you've spent 3-4 hours working out.

sabi nga ni James Brown ----- "I feel good!!!".......

the rest of my experiment, saka na lang when I see results.

@ pizzaro, ang laki pala ng katawan mo. you want more muscles, research on what Arnold Schwarzenneger did. his routine is the bomb.
