Say, first set mo is 25 lb - 25 lb each arm for bicep workout, after first set lipat ka immediately sa 20 lb, after second set lipat ka immediately sa 15lb, and so on, hanggang sa last set mo. Pag barbell naman po babawasan lang yung weights.

Eto naman ang gusto kong itanong sa inyo: Can lifting heavy weights affect, say, your guitar playing? I don't know pero parang there's something about tightly curling your fingers around a bar with heavy weights that can impair your fingers' fluidity and precision. Meron na ba kayong nabasang scientific study about this? Is it a myth o possible na may truth? Parang mahirap maging serious bodybuilder and guitar master at the same time. If you frequently lift really heavy weights, will it have a significant effect on your shredding? Hmm, comments?  :|

Pag powerlifting po siguro, or lifts requiring very tight grip (heavy deadlifts, heavy shrugs etc..). Pag madalas rin po siguro mag forearm workout, im not sure po, any physicians here? hehe.

US, just get it at GNC, hehe.

Gusto mo ng hard rock muscles, merong nabibili na muscle stimulator (well it works like steroids, but its not). I forgot the name. Its really expensive. I'll post when I remember.

nope. Its a cell recruitment supplement. Its amazing, kaya lang you have to work out to the point of exhaustion. Dalawang work out sessions lang you can see the difference. I'll look up my stack at home, I'm sure meron pa kong box nun na nakatago.

In helping out with supplements, sure why not. Kaya lang di ko sure kung pano yung arrangement. :-D

i noticed a lot of people have the problem of having lots of flab here and there, even if their bodies are already very skinny, i know a lot of women who have that prob. i learned some important stuff about fitness

1. u can't lose your belly by doing infinity crunches. u lose it by losing over-all fat. fat decreases throughout the body and not only in specific places. that's impossible. if there's remaining beerbelly or lovehandles, surgery lang talaga ang solusyon. bad genetics lang talaga ang culprit. so to look like a model, one really has to be genetically blessed. di pwede maski sino.

solution to lovehandles or beerbellies would be to make the muscle bigger. dieting and undereating is the worst for the body because people think they're losing fat, but actually only losing muscle, then they end up just fat and bones.

my work-out routine is just mostly cardio but sometimes lifting also, especially when i practice with steel-string and thick strings. i always eat a lot of protein when i spend a day practicing guitar. korny ko. hirap i career and bodybuilding, but dont they say the most efficient bodybuilders only spend little of their time working out. organized na talaga time management and discipline.

ill take that down. salamat panterica. ung last na binili ko soy protein. tapos rinesearch ko sabi hindi daw ganong effective ung soy at whey ung pinaka na aabsorb daw ng katawan may mga percentages or score pala ung mga kinds of protein. eggs ung 2nd, sa whey, tapos baba ng rating ng soy. pag egg and soy din pala, nakaka taas ng estrogen levels,  :-o whey na siguro bibilhin kong next.

may naka try na sa inyo, imbis na upper body workout day and lower body workout day, right side day and left side day. minsan kase kunwari naworkout ko ung quads ko o kaya calfs, hirap na hirap ako magcommute at maglakad, kahit tumayo. baka pwede kahit sabay upper and lower body, basta right or left side lang.

how to lose those beerbellies:

Please don't. These are a waste of your money. Just drink coffee if you need a caffeine fix. Then if you really want the full effect of these drugs, drink coffee, drink red bull, a glass of gatorade and two sugar cubes. You'll have more fun doing that.

Simple lang naman ang formula how to lose weight. No hard science needed.

All intake (meaning kain lang and then upo sa couch afterwards) - GAIN WEIGHT

Intake and output are the same - NOTHING HAPPENS (this means you are sedentary) - you maintain whatever state you are in.

Sensible intake with lots of activities and nominal output - LOSE WEIGHT

Cardio is cardio. Yes it will make you lose weight, but it will not give you the muscles that you need to burn more fat. Its good, kasi it keeps your heartrate up. Which means, the more pump, better processing of all the food that you just ingested, better metabolism.

Belly gut. I was a succesful member of the Belly Off Club sa Menshealth, until depression sets in. Dami kasing bad na nangyari these past few months. I went wayward, pero I'm back on the saddle. My girlfriend is helping out (which is inspiring me to workout, makes me eat healthy).

The best exercise to INCINERATE that Gut is "Running".

Lift weights so you can gain muscle. As I explained before, a pound of muscle helps burn 50 extra calories per hour.

If anyone is interested, here's my formula to maintain and help me out to live longer.

Megamen Sport - multivitamin (lots of B's in there and you get your dose of chromium)
CoQ10 with Fish Oil - I get antioxidants in my bloodstream right away and helps my body cope with fatique
CLA - Conjugated Linoleic Acid - we already produce this, pero as we grow older, it gets depleted. Its our natural defense against fat. Take it. Its not a fat burner, it uses the fat that you ingested and turns it to energy (yay!!!)
Gingko Biloba - helps me keep sharp and my memory intact.
Whey protein - its a must. PLEASE DO NOT GET SOY PROTEIN. simple explanation - are there any vegans out there that packed on hard rock muscles? Whey is natures fat burner. It also helps you fill up.
- here's a tip - get the chocolate flavor whey. 1 cup of coffee, 1 scoop of whey, a sugar cube (or 1 teaspoon - sweetener if you're diabetic), 4 ice cubes and blend. A smoothie with a kick. This is way better than any energy drink out there. Also this doesn't leave you drained after its effect (why, kasi hindi sya adrenaline based).
Creatine - I take the capsules. Pop two before your workout. Pop another two afterwards. Delivery system to utilize the water in your body the way its suppose to be used. (musculogenic is the term).

Some extras here:
Glucomannan - its 4 p.m., you're in the slump and you need a fix. you see a chocolate bar, or a bag of potato chips, which looks like a really good idea right there. Take this capsule before deciding to chow down and feel that you're already full. This is 100% from natural. Its an extract from a leaf or some veggie (I can't remember). It expands in your stomach and gives you the feeling that you're full. (not a good idea though if you have heartburn).
Pyruvate - this is probably the best thing that's out there. (in my opinion of course). Pag katapos mo mag-work out. You imagine how much calories you actually burned. If you used a machine, it has this gauge that tells you how much. Lets say you're a 160 lb man, 5'9" and you ran the treadmill of 30 minutes, at the speed of 6. You have burned about 310-350 calories by then. After running, your BMR will kick in. (Basic Metabolic Rate - this is how your body naturally uses the calories you ingest). I'd say, you burn an extra 100-200 within the next couple of hours. Not nearly enough to get to 3500 eh (which is equivalent to 1 lb.). Pyruvate helps with that. It extends the burn longer. I can't say how long, kasi iba iba ang body composition, but its KICK ASS.

hope these helps.

oh yeah, and don't forget to chew your Endothil-CR  :-D

Yung coach and trainer ng isang magaling na football team dito sa US, sabi nya sa isang interview - 'No Pain, No Gain.....whoever believes that is a fool."

Ang rason kaya sumasakit ang muscles after a workout, kasi NEVER mo pang nagamit ang muscle na yon in your everyday routine. You want less pain, eat a BANANA before your workout. Recovery drink (post workout), drink your whey. STRETCH, STRETCH, STRETCH. I don't recommend pre-workout, but if you're used to it, do so.

I love to have somebody try this out with me (kahit libo libong milya ang layo ko). SUPERSETS - Compound workout.

Arms, shoulder, back, neck
Midsection (Core), chest and lower back
Legs, calves, heel, shins, glutes

be creative - in 45 minutes, try and workout all these muscle groups

how?

No rest between sets. Ang rest mo is the muscle that you are not using at that time. Meaning, alternate with Upper body, Lower Body. 3 sets each, with 8-10 reps.

This way, you lift weights and you got your cardio.

I'm not kidding.

@panterica - I only get the one with 18-24 grams, baka ma-heart attack na ko nyan sa sobrang protina.

what are u guys' schedules. o kaya intervals of building o kaya losing. pag gusto mag build ng muscle kelangan tumaba ng konti, diba. tapos pag nabuild na at medyo nagiging gorilla, kelangan ulit mag trim ng fat, tapos build ulit. ganon ba kayo? one week of building? one month? or just 3 days? ano ung pinaka efficient at safe and smooth for proper recovery and over-all health
