best combination: dirtpedal + distortion?

tanong lang: if you say that a pedal is a booster, where in the chain are going to put that?

for example: SD1 and the Ts808. if you want the Ts808 as a booster saan mo sya ilalagay sa chain? guitar+ SD1+Ts808?
or guitar+Ts808+SD1?

I've been cascading dirt pedals as well. but i'm not sure which one of them is the designated as the booster.

so if i may request kung mag kwento kayo paki specify kung paano yung arrangement sa chain

the one with the most dirt goes to the end of the chain ... thats how i would set it up.

mahal kuha ko sa ydr dahil sa tax... dito ko binili sa europe ydr ko... around 110 euros... hehehe mahal lugi ako... pero sulit naman dahil gusto ko talaga ang crossover ng overdrive hanggang sa semi fuzzy tone ng ydr.

Kahapon nakuha ko na ulit TS9(808) ko and I tried boosting the Budda Phatman (9am gain ko) with the tubescreamer (0 drive 2pm level ) ...

a bit OT, but ive always been curious about this:

what if you want an MT + EQ for your dirt sound, but for your lead sound, you want OD2 + TS7 only, without the EQ + MT2? ... how do you manage to tap dance yourself out of this stomping feat? hehehehe

so i guess you can call a pedal a booster regardless of it's position in the signal chain right?

i only use two dirt pedals at the same time when doing solos. i always have my SD1 on my pedalboard. If i use it in conjunction with my DS1: it's Guitar - DS1 - SD1 - amp. I use the DS1 for rhythm and step on the SD1 for solos( low drive, high volume).

But for heavier stuff i use a different setup. I take the DS1 out and bring my SD2 into play: Guitar - SD1 - SD2 - amp. I set the SD1's drive on full and and Use the SD2's crunch channel for solos(crunch drive set to less than half- around 10 o'clock).  if more drive is required i turn off my SD1 and switch to the SD2's lead channel.

My combo -> Boston DS-100 and OD-100. Sometimes OD-100 and ZOOM G1 Distortion Tones or DS-100 ZOOM G1 OD Tones.

I switch it on & off. Napapansin ko rin naman if the YJM is on e. Pero there are some nice mods na may LED na siya para alam mong naka-on.

Current na ginagamit ko pong setup is:
mxr dist+ >vs  jekyll and hyde
Pinaglalaruan ko pa settings to get the sound I like, kaso medyo ok na ko e. Fun din siyang pagbaligtarin, (vs jekyll and hyde > mxr dist+). Tapos ang cute pa nilang pagtabihin sa TS808/TS9 para red-yellow-green. Stoplight config.
