1986 Gibson Les Paul Pre-historic Flametop Reissue in a gorgeous Heritage Cherry Sunburst lacquer finish.
Prehistoric Gibson Les Pauls are the earliest attempt to recreate how their golden era guitars are built. These early reissues, or what Gibson followers call 'prehistorics' since it was the Historics before the Historic line were introduced embodies the finest craftsmanship Gibson has to offer. Many consider the prehistorics better than what is currently offered today. So here's your chance on owning a great guitar, and a piece of guitar history for a price less than today's new offerings.
This guitar is in overall in very good to excellent condition not only for a 31 year old guitar but compared to any guitar in particular.

Stunning Flame
Ink-stamped serial number, thin binding on cutaway pertains to being an authentic Pre-historic Flametop Reissue
Original frets are still intact and has almost no sign of wear.
Neck is straight and truss rod works fine.
Fret board is well maintained with no cracks or signs of drying.
The top wood of this guitar looks very clean with minimal damage on the nitro finish.
There are some fine cracks on the binding as seen on the pictures, but none really worth getting worried about.
The back and side of the body has a few minor nicks and scratches due to normal use and age.
Gibson Deluxe Tuners work fine, strings stay in tune even with lots of bending.
ABR-1 Bridge and stop tailpiece have no issues and works fine.
Pickups are swapped by the previous owner to Gibson 57 Classics.
It comes with an SKB hardshell case in excellent condition. (I misplaced the keys though)
