guys,
i cant find any thread regarding this.
anyway, i know that most of us is planning to get a new phone this xmas so i created this thread.
anyway, help me decide which phone to get. i have these phones in mind:
zenfone 5 @ 7k
specs: 5inch HD screen, intel atom processor, 16gb internal memory, 2gb ram
pros: future lollipop update, bang-for-the-buck phone!
cons: battery life, low volume ringtone
xperia c3 @ 12.5k
specs: 5.5inch HD screen, 8gb internal, 1gb ram
pros: 5mp camera with flash
cons: no idea yet
moto g 2 (2014) @ 9.5k
specs: 5inch HD screen, 8gb internal memory, 1gb ram
pros: sure lollipop update, pure android experience with no bloatware, with microSD slot (unlike it's 1st gen)
cons: subpar camera
htc desire 820 @ 18k
specs: 5.5inch HD screen, 16gb internal memory, 2gb ram
pros: 8mp front cam, i love the design! specially the blue accent on the white version!
cons: no idea yet
by far, when it comes to design, id go for desire 820, hands down but the one thing that keeps me from getting this is the price.
money is king! so a phone with lesser price that can do the same thing as other phone, id be more inclined of getting it!
btw, im a casual gamer, more of listening to music. also, budget wise 7k-12k. dont even know why i listed the htc.. probably because somehow, i want that phone! if persuaded, i can find a way of getting it.

hey thanks! i never looked into that model! i guess i can add that to my list! also, google cardboard would be awesome pros for that model! thanks!
EDIT: 16gb is not enough for me.. an upgrade to 32gb will cost additional of 2500 for that phone. i never understand why NEXUS dont have microSD slot.. :-o

On your first post, I'd get the Moto G 2 (2014).

I'm going for the Moto G with this list. Motorola is pretty much the king of affordable Androids.
Sony Xperia C3, wag na lang talaga. Sony makes good high end phones though, and the C3 isn't one of them.

thanks! 2 votes for moto g 2nd gen!
parang tumaas ata ang price nya since the first time i saw it.. 11780 at sulit and 11000 at lazada with no COD! tsk..

Lenovo A5000 :)
Battery and performance...
-
This was last year.. i already got the zenfone 5 because of it's 2gb ram vs 1gb of moto g 2nd gen. Still using it btw. What i hate is that it doesnt have gyro, so no google cardboard to explore.
Anyway, feel free to post if you need help in choosing a phone.

problema sa Nexus releases ng google ay they always keep everything about the phone as stock as prossible...kasama na yung sounds ahaha.

by default, pag nag play ka ng music o video clip, nasa 50% sya. pag nilagpas mo yung volume slider lalabas yung warning "...hearing damages may occur" which means youre getting past the thresholds android has set on the volume.
ngayon yung, asus phablet na gamit ko may magaganda ding enhancements/presets - movie, music, game modes, etc.
-
i can vouch for the 'weak' volume nung mga nexus handsets although i flash my devices on the first day after unboxing :)
laging may faux sound kernel fix yung mga custom roms :)
kadalasan mas maganda sa stock ng other OEMs.
ang problema ko lang eh hindi naman talaga maganda yung built-in speaker nung device in the first place so di mo talaga mabebeat yung tunog na pinoprovide ng other devices with stereo speakers such as LG G4 or HTC ONE
pagdating naman sa headphones, nasa headphones naman din yung difference.
basta hindi 100 pesos cans yung ginamit mo ayos naman
