are there jazz players in laguna ,calamba and other places other than manila?

Sigurado meron naman. Ang tanong diyan, may mga gig ba sila? May mga venue ba?

salamat po sir aya at sir william, nag research ako ng konti sa mga jazz clubs, eto yung mga nahanap ko , monks dream bar at jazz rythms. pwede po ba makahingi ng konting info sa mga bar na to? salamat kung may madadagdag pa po kau mas masaya :-D

Matagal nang wala ang Monk's Dream.

Tumugtog ako sa last night ng Monk's Dream. Mga 2005 o 2006 pa ata yon.

Yung Jazz Rhythms naman has never been a jazz bar. Their version of "jazz" is Anita Baker, Angela Bofill and Toto. They play records/cd's of pop jazz. Walang live music at lalo nang walang tunay na jazz.

Eh, lalo nang matagal nang wala yung Monk's Dream sa Rockwell. Mga 2004 pa lang ata, nagsara na yon. Lumipat siya sa Wasabi restaurant sa Makati Ave. Mga isang taon lang siya tumagal.

hahahaha +1 nakapasok ako 1 time dyan sa jazz rhythms, 1 reason kung bakit ayaw ko ng jazz dati eh, dahil kala ko ganung ka corny ang jazz :-D

Medyo apektado din ng krisis ang jazz dito, 2 bar na yung may professional jazz jam session ang na-bankrupt. Sana wag mabawasan ang students ko huhuhuh :cry:

haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay maka pag showband na nga lang! :-D

kung sa Manila iilan lang ang venue ng jazz. Mas lalo wala dito(Laguna) :cry:

Merck's Bar & Bistro sa Greenbelt.. Yung bar ni Richard Merck. They have jazz nights. :-)
