^ hassle talaga lalo yung mga 18 wheels, fully laden all. minsan kasi they travel in groups din e we also travel in a convoy (mostly ) kaya ang hirap icoordinate yung mga kotse while we're at it, so last saturday we just gunned it para maiwanan lahat ng truck, bahala na sino maiwan

@ rockophoria

not sure about double clutch but i got to try out an evo V with racing clutch - para kang sumisipa ng kaban ng bigas everytime, and you can't smoothly ride the clutch - there will always be lurching movements. the owner doesn't daily drive it, he tried, he gave up after two days.

1-3-5
2-4-6

kumbaga from neutral pag nagshift ka sa 1st gear eh nakahanda na yung 2nd gear sa drivetrain then pag shift sa 2nd yung 3rd naman so on and so forth..

meron na ba sa inyo nakasubok nun?  :-D

Hehe. It will be better pag may twin clutch system.

so for me kahit na super cool ang paddle shifters I will still love the Twin-Clutch system solely because of the stick shifting system nya.. kumbaga nawala lang talaga yung clutch pedal.

Hello PhilMusic Car Club fellows! Just wanted to seek help and advice as I'm looking to replace the Rims or Mags of my car.

Car is a NISSAN X-Trail 250X 2007.

Questions are:

1. How much for a decent set of rims? 5PCs preferred.
     a. Brandnew
     b. Secondhand

2. Would it be better to get a secondhand set?

3. The Car is currently equipped with 15's. would it be better to increase the size or would that change the ride feel?

Thank you so much guys!

1. Brandnew - could be around 30 - 40k ang 5pieces. depende pa kung branded could be higher than 100k

2. It's better kung kilala mo yung nagbebenta, or kung marunong ka tumingin dapat vigilant ka kung walang cracks at bengkong, if you have the moolah, go brandnew, atlis may warranty.

3. Kung papogi ang habol, pogi yan sa 17's or higher na mags yun lang you need low profile tires kung san magiging matagtag na  ang riding comfort. Kung personal use, and you can take the "tagtag" go with the looks, pero kung may mga kids ka, misis mo, pampamilyang sasakyan. Eh sa comfort tayo. :)

Maraming salamat po sir Spadettie! Just a couple of followup questions,

nako, tama nga, mukhang stick to 15s muna at gustong gusto ko yung feel ng sasakyan eh :D

Guys pa suggest naman, I'm looking for 2nd hand car ( my first ) I'm 23 yrs old freelancer, so gagamitin ko siya most of the time for meetings around the metro and every weekend sa Kawit, Cavite. Ano ba ma-suggest niyo?

My budget right now is 150k I can stretch up to 200k pero kasi I left 50k for possible repairs sa bibilin kong sasakyan.

You may suggest a good second hand car dealer as well financing company na tatanggap ng financing with low interest siyempre at yung insurance na kasama.

Currently I'm eyeing for a Lancer, Vios, Sentra, yung 1998+ model.

TIA Guys!

mitsu or toyota na brad.. maraming pyesa nyan kung saan saan para madali ang maintenance.. and yep I suggest wag mo isagad ang budget mo.. dapat may extra ka for repairs or upgrades.. usually kasi pag 2nd hand na oto ang binili pakakuha mo eh drain/palit lahat ng fluids and filters para sure ka na sayo nagsimula yung countdown ng mileage before ka mag maintenance ulit.

atleast may panggastos ka pa.. and syempre depede pa pag pudpud na ang gulong eh mas maganda may extra ka pa to buy a new set.. tapos astig na rims na rin to go with it..

goodluck!  :)

way back I looked into "repo-vehicles" offered by Banks.. try to check P.S Bank if they have recent repo vehicles for sale.. pero mind you dude most of the repo cars are really beaten up or kinarne na internally since alam mo naman ang mga may ari nun kung makakaganti sa bank dahil kukunin na yung kotse nila dahil di makabayad eh tatanggalin yung stereo, sisrain yung speakers.. bubutasin yung mga upholstery or kukunin yung spare tyres and others stuffs..

so make sure to check thoroughly with a trusted mechanic yung oto pag titingin ka sa repo.

Well yun nga din sabi ng Tito ko kaya I stay away from the Bank though I check there listing (BDO) may mga tempting na cars.

I have a Trusted Mechanic that I need to pay lang if ever maghahanap my problem is the right model for me and places to look for.
