idol ko kasi ang Strokes... gusto ko lang malaman kung ano yung pinakagusto nyong album nila tsaka kanta. Best album para sa akin ay yung Is this it? ..favorite ko naman yung "between love and hate" na kanta nila..

Al Hammond is recording a new solo album (pangalawa na niya)...coming out soon.

They're also fantastic live.  They're the only band I know that doesn't do encores.

The first one was surprisingly good and the new song "in my room" is very promising..

nicolai fraiture (bassist) also released a solor album under "nickle eye".  fab moretti (drummer) also released a solo album.

da best pa rin "is this it" album.  they are currently in the studio working on the next album, tentatively for release on feb.

ok yung first album, pero my favorite song would be from the second album: Under Control.

its such a pity na di nila nakayanan yung "saviours of rock" hype nile, but great band still. :)

Parang ang naaaplika sa Strokes, yung Law of Diminishing Returns--each album they put out seems to have a not-as-good quality as the last one.  I didn't even bother to pick up Julian Casablancas' recently released solo album.

interesting observation kse their 3rd album is actually the one i like best, sunod ung second, last ung first.  :-)

astig may thread pala para sa the strokes! what i like the band is how Julian sings. parang tinatamad lang pero bagay na bagay sa mga kanta. tapos ayus yung stereo sound ng dalawang guitarist.

fave song. someday, the end has no end, you only live once, last nite. at madami pang iba.
