If u were to reunite a band, what band would you pick and why? It could be any band from Philippines to United States as long as they're well-known.

pink floyd is my all-time favorite band...hands down, technicality-wise and lyrically-wise no one comes close to them...

i would love to see waters jam with the rest of the band though i'd love to see syd barrett too..too bad that wont happen. just cherishing the legacy they left and enjoying each of the memebers solo stuff.

Smashing Pumpkins. The four were a great combination. Billy's compositions definitely rocked back then. But I wouldn't hope for a reunion sometime soon though. Billy and James are still not in good terms.

Pink Floyd reunion rumours persist
___ Joe Mott has reported in the UK daily newspaper 'The Star that Pink Floyd including Roger Waters! have been approached to perform on July 2nd @ London's Hyde Park. It is worth noting that 'The Star is not renowned for its depth when publishing a story, but we mention it here as it was reported today. The article titled 'Live Aid 2 is in the Pink reports that:

Pink Floyd are in top secret talks to perform for Live Aid 2. David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Rick Wright and Nick Mason have been asked to appear at the Hyde Park event Live 8 on July 2. If organisers pull it off, it'll put all other perfromers in the shade - including U2, Oasis, Paul McCartney and the Rolling Stones. I'm told: "They've all been approached and we're hoping they can put their differences behind them and join the concert." The band have previously been offered millions to reform after falling out, but refused. Live 8 is aimed at raising money for children in Africa. Imagine the viewing figures if the Floyd did play.

Nick Mason has said recently a live aid type concert may see the band reunite!

that's good news. but if it really happens, why not in US too damnit! i mean, forget the charity, do it for the fans at least.

they are putting thier miscomminications aside,
for a greater good. id love to see them here too,
but they have to start somewhere.

and trust, they are doing it for the fans,
they are trying to make the world a better place...
in the long run that helps us all, ya know?

peace,
nina

music for charity is good for everybody. i mean everybody. it's good for the artists in terms of promotion; good for the audience dahil mas maraming involved lagi na artists if it's probono; and syempre nakakatulong sa mga nangangailangan. take a look Live Aid back in '84 and of course, The Concert for Bangladesh(BTW, Clapton used an ES-355 here). It's all good, and it's nice to become a part of music history.

It's now confirmed, Pink Floyd will be reuniting for Live 8 Tour. just informing Floyd fans here. Waters will be performing with them.
