superoxy,

if you're not happy with the finish, I'll bet Guitar Hospital could help you out with a nicer refin... just ask Toybitz, I think he had a guitar refinished there once... tama ba ako, toybitz?

sir joe,

nah, im happy with the finish, i like it screaming "my owner is a cheap bastard!"

i'm planning to change the mounting rings though, looks bad with the unaligned edges. thinking of having jun castro (just because he's nearer where i am  ) make just one big rectangular  piece to replace the three pieces and have the holes fit the pickups snugly (underneath that middle pickguard is a bastardized humbucker dimarzio made into a single coil)

i think he is swamped with work, at nakakalimot na din sumagot. minsan di rin sumasagot ng txt messages unless may reminder... I dropped off a guitar for retouch/refin of a damaged portion a week ago... wala pa rin akong feedback kung ano magagawa and magkano... ang daming nagpapagawa...

I like the Les Paul best... but that's just my taste. May I know what brand of LP this is, pls?

Vegie... that is an old YAMAHA SL500. Very nice copy. Obviouslly not the real thing but does the job very well. I installed a couple of EMGs in there to get the Zakk Wylde feel. Unfortunatelly, I don't have the Zakk Wylde talent, hahaha!!!

Sir,

Thats a very, very beautiful Yamaha LP.  :)

violin burst, ah...a pair of Alnico Pro 2 humbuckers...wow...it could be mistaken as a Slash LP.  My Yamaha Lord Player is black.  Wow, I haven't seen a Yamaha LP with a violin burst before.  Its a very nice picture.

Toybitz... Thank you, man. Actually, meron tong BurstBucker Pro before.

I've been thinking of trading this to a great 000 or grand concert style acoustic guitar. Oh, with 50s RI fender MIJ pickups...

Its a Fender with a replaced bridge...[/img]

He was proposing something from the beauty of the burst book but i have no clue. I guess kailangang kong ma-acquire na naman yung libro so we can be on the same page. The vintage sunburst speaks to me though and he said he can do it but im intrigued as to what beauty of the bursts are there....arrrgghh choices
