Yes sir it's a PP. 08' but still smells like vanilla/cake/cornbread from the nitrocellulose hehe. Yup correct walang wormholes for the pickguard. Would be a shame to cover the flames too I guess. Gusto ko pa naman mag pickguard and Bigsby but it's gonna cover too much real estate hehe.
Would you know the pricepoint of these Studio PPs vs other Studios and vs Standards? Are they priced closer to Standards? I've been looking at closed Reverb.com and Ebay sales and the most expensive example I found sold for USD 1600 but I I still dont know how much the SRP was in 2008.
I'm not sure on exact pricin, but I used to own a LPCPP, and within that model range, PP's supposed to be the highest end ones, more expensive with the Classic and Classic Plus in tow.
They maybe within the pricepoint of standard plaintops, close perhaps.
I say more than $500 price difference between a PP and a Plus, and must've been greater between a PP and the normal studio. These crazy flames on PP pop more due to double staining. But granting yours is au naturale, that top just priceless.
