High CPU Usage
« on: March 05, 2011, 02:36:39 PM »
I'm using Core2Duo 3Ghz running at 2.4Ghz because of the limited bus speed of my motherboard Asus P5NSLI.
using windows xp,

CPU usage spike lagi sa 70%-75%- 80%- 90% - 100% ... bababa ng konte sa 80%- pero most of the time nasa 100%- 90%..

i had the same problem before and i blamed it all to my Atom Processor, di babab sa 80% CPU usage at aabot ng 100% office lang naman ang naka open sakin. Try this:

1. open the task manager then look at the current programs running

2. it may be difficult but google each suspicious process that is currenlty running, or you can open location of the programs, usually nasa documents pero pag open ala naman, or kapag end process mo ay nandun parin at di titigil, ayun malware yun.

3. if you found one, you can manually delete it in safe mode, unhide all folders (including the protected operating systems box) and there you will see it.

4. or try to use mbam, malwarebytes, freeware nama yun at effective.

hope it helps

Try using this app to find out which is causing the high CPU usage.

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653

You can use it to replace Windows Task Manager also.
