I noticed something.. the SATF that I tried was honeyburst finish daw. But it looked more like a '59 burst to me. I wonder kung saang branch makakakita ng mas orangey na honeyburst, like this one.. :-)

Kakahawak ko lng ng Hamer Californian2 ba yun, made in Indonesia. Ganda for 10K...! Parang Ibańez yung neck although 1 piece maple lang sya. But this thing is meant for speed talaga. Ganda ng factory setup, action is low for shredding. One of the bests MII na nakita ko. Bolt-on neck, but very resonant and sustain is decent for a bolt-on construction :-) Napaisip tuloy ako.

yep.. ganda nga niya.. equipped na siya with duncan pickup i believe.. i love the looks and sound of that guitar.. the only down fall i have for it is that mahirap siya laroin (uncomfortable) pag nakaupo kc parang dudulas.. pero overall it's a nice and mean guitar..

hamer is one of those guitar brands that are very well built but unfamous
but they are good

Sorry hehehe I pasted the wrong review, anyway I agree that if you like it at the store then go ahead and buy it. BTW here's the review that I want to share with you.

I appologize for my sounding like anti-Hamer, it's just that I hate it when people advertise their products in a deceitful manner.

well that was a hard blow on the archtop model.. haha.. but anyway.. like i said, a review is just a review.. and any products by any company will surely have some defects, just because you bought an original gibson les paul, it doesn;t necesarily need to be perfect right? i mean there are and there will be sub-standard products by a particular company, but we need not stereotyped all of their products are like that right? i mean the first squire i bought was crap.. but i don't believe that all squire are crap.. just my 2 cents though :-)

Right...
... I still feel for those who believed their SATF's is mahogany but the guy at Hamer admitted that it was only mahogany-like.
