Saw a photo exhibit by Annie Leibovitz a few years ago that focused on rock stars. She had one photo of John Frusciante's arm. It explains a lot regarding why you never really see him wearing short sleeve shirts nowadays. There's barely any skin along the veins. That photo should be circulated for people who are thinking of sticking that needle.
Other than that, John was the reason why I also started listening to Hendrix and ultimately getting my first Fender strat.

In Anthony Kiedis' memoir it says na ayaw na talaga tumugtog ni John sa concert nila sa japan nung 1992.. and pinilit lang sya to perform one last time.. and nagsuffer yung performance since according to Anthony eh wala sa sarili nya si John and walang pakielam.. like pag kumakanta sya eh sobrang lakas ng riffs ni John.. tapos pag solo time na eh anghina hina at pinaglalaruan pa..
Anthony said na kinausap nya si John afterwards saying: "You should have atleast gave these people worth what they paid for.." something like that..
