Here's my Fender Squier Floyd. Temporarily I installed a low pro floyd from an Ibanez PGM (Currently rebuilding the original Floyd Rose II) also installed is a Seymour Duncan Invader (have plans of changing the HB again).

Sir Jah Blues,

Ano inspiration mo dun sa reliced na strat mo ( the one with the rosewood fretboard, gold hardware and stripped paint)

I'm thinking, the beloved "the black one" that John Mayer used on Crossroads 2007 DVD?

I just want to ask kung squier ba sya na nilagyan mo ng decal or Fender talaga

I would want to make my old black chinese squier into Mayer's " the black one"

Pa-share naman ng kwento ng gitara mo about the processes involved and materials used that led to its cool end result.

Thanks, Sir Jah Blues

Mahirap pala mag relic nyan. Pero ganda ng kinalabasan. Recognized agad ng mga Mayer Fans. 8-)

Isip-isip muna ako. :-D Hehe

hi Squier users!

I have this red Squier Strat...problem is that it has no serial no. and as I checked further I found out that its a Squier Affinity series (based on the decal on its headstock).  There's no marking where and when it was made/manufactured...

hope you can help me guys on "identifying" my Squier Affinity Strat....I forgot I bought it from a japan surplus shop...

will post pics later...

For LP guys, do try 50s style wiring in place of the treble bleed mod.   :-)
