In support of the Filipino Artistry, Thumbinteractiv, producer of 6Underground Live and Raw is inviting all aspiring and professional independent bands or musicians of any genre.

We are now accepting demo cd's and videos. You can submit your material in our drop box at the lobby of 6underground Pearl Plaza, Pearl Drive Ortigas Center Pasig City or at Unit 909 9/F Prestige Building F.Ortigas (former Emerald Avenue) Ortigas Center Pasig City

Only original music and videos will be accepted. Please do include your band profile or portfolio, enclose everything in a short brown envelope.

So be prepared to rock for this upcoming innovative project that will showcase the talent and artistry of Filipino worldwide.

first time namin nakatugtog sa 6UG.
kaso nagkaaberya sa bwisit na psu ng setup ko and later on naman sa pedal ng drums. by the end of the last song wala na akong tunog, hahaha.

pero all's good despite the gremlins. sana maulit ulit, pwera aberya.

Hi guys!

6Underground is coming up with its first INDIGO JAZZ NIGHT on November 4, this Tuesday night. This will be a monthly thing for us scheduled at every first Tuesday of each month. Leading the night is Quail Quartet (Nikki Cabardo - keys, Ronald Tomas - sax, Alden Abaca - drums, and Dave Harder - bass). Jazz and fusion open jams follow immediately so I hope all of my improvisational cohorts can join us. Some of my jazzy friends in the industry promised to drop by so let's jam na!

None so far. The purpose of the live gig video streaming is for loggers to watch 6UG gigs regardless of where they are. Some critics say that showing the gigs online defeats the purpose of seeing the bands live. I disagree due to the following:

1. There is a GREAT difference between watching a video and being there live. Online video streaming is one-dimensional that cannot be compared to physically being there with all the sweat, heat, music, (hot chicks) right up your face. Totally different creatures.
2. Our live gig streaming is a one-cam low-res streaming of the actual gig. Inasmuch as these are done in real time, these are not high-res edited videos.

So why do we do live streaming?
1. Because it is a technological breakthrough. We are the ONLY venue who does it. In the same manner that if Hendrix or Mozart were alive today, they would have marveled at all the advance audio recording development at their disposal. We are using technology to our advantage.
2. Because not everyone can access 6Underground. Our radio show has many listeners from Cebu, Davao, Baguio, and other parts like North Cotabato, Ililo, Zamboanga, among many others. Even if they want to, not all of them can experience what we enjoy here.

We still do edit some of the good performances and include them in the play list as you can see in our website. We will continuously update and add more to those.

Live streaming is from Wednesday to Saturday 9:00PM to 1:30AM.
