kung sa neck ako mag babase oo same talaga sya ng sa ovation, tuning pegs? maybe pinalitan na sya ng previous owner or what?  kahapon ko lang nakuha to,, kaya di ako yung frist owner para malaman kung tunay nga o hindi ito hehe.. pero iba kasi yung touch nya sa ibang  guitara na nahawakan ko.. parang hindi sya gawang lumanog or what eh

Can't be the basis to know if fake or not. Ovation comes in three levels of bowl depths: shallow, mid-depth and deep.

Pero sa tingin ko sir imitation ito kasi the logo is in all caps.

I think it's a fake sir. The tuning pegs give it away like the generic Raon copies they did in the early 90's. The logo is another clue, they are not the usual font used by Ovation even in their 1970 electric guitar lines. The Logo that we see today has changed a little form the guitars they did in the 70's.

With that condition, restoration would be difficult. Vulcaseal ba yung nsa pagitan ng neck and bowlback?

hehe.. walang strings eh.. baka kajon ang gamit, kaya mejo basag din yung likod.. hehe..

joke lang.. pero mukhang hindi lang major cosmetic restoration ang kailangan niyan.. the neck joint part looks like it snapped twice in two different parts.. mahirap yan..

fret condition is another thing to consider.. baks sobrang pudpod na.. then yung machine heads, parang bali na yung low E na post.. tsk tsk..

It is definitely fake. I owned one.  Ang original ovation walang cover ang truss rod kasi sa loob ang nut niya sa may guitar hole.  Ang orginal ovation plastic ang bowl back at walang paint.  Why waste time and money.  Sayang lang.
