Tancha ko matulin sya at malapit lang ang distansya sa Furtuner, tapos eto namang si Fortuner eh brand new driver na di tumitingin sa likod tru mirrors bago mag preno eh nasa expressway sila. Pero ultimately kasalanan ni van driver yan, kahit mag full brake si fortuner dapat di nya parin tatamaan yun.

yep. kumbaga, halos ka-presyo na nito yung mga Landcruiser na eh at tsaka yung Latest Generation na Pajero. ang kulit lang ng design ni Xpander kasi yung headlight niya, sa bumper naka-pwesto tapos yung yung akala mong headlight, eh led/daytime light lang pala.

tingin ko hindi lang nawalan ng preno eh. it has something to do with physics. #nagpapaka-siyensya 
pero seryoso, alam naman ng drivers and operators, may kaakibat na risk yung pag-ikot-ikot (mixing process) ng malaking capsule habang umaandar yung concrete mixer. yung laman sa loob ang dahilan kung bakit nagiging unstable yung sasakyan, samahan mo pa ng overloading... BOOM! disgrasya.

PUV modernization program back on track as court rejects TRO request

The implementation of the Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) modernization program will push through after a Quezon City trial court denied the petition of protesting militant transport groups.

QC Regional Trial Court Branch 80 denied Monday the motion for a temporary restraining order (TRO) filed by Angat Tsuper Samahan ng mga Tsuper at Operator ng Pilipinas – Genuine Organization Inc. (Stop & Go) against the implementation of Department Order No. ‎2017-011, known as the Omnibus Franchising Guidelines (OFG), issued by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) last June 19, 2017.

DOTr Undersecretary for Legal Affairs and Procurement Reinier Paul Yebra said the granting of a certificate of public convenience to PUV operators is not a right but a privilege subject under the police powers of the government through the DOTr and the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).

“There is no urgency and irreparable injury that will justify issuance of the TRO as the target roll-out and full implementation of the PUV Modernization Program is still in 2018, and that LTFRB has not yet issued the necessary Memorandum Circulars as basis of specific implementation schedules,” Yebra said in a statement.

Father dead as cement truck crushes family car

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – A cement mixer truck toppled onto a car during the afternoon rush hour on Tuesday, August 15, killing one passenger and leaving a family fatherless.

The truck was travelling northbound along Mindanao Avenue near the turn to Congressional Avenue when its left wheels went up the center island, causing it to keel over, MMDA Spokesperson Celine Pialago told reporters.

The truck fell onto a Honda Brio, which carried a family of 5: Father of the family Ulysses Ramos, 34, Mother Marife Ramos, 35 and their children Eulaiza , Eugene, and Enrico aged 12, 8, and 4.

The family was brought to the Metro North Hospital except for Elaiza, who was transported to the Quezon City General Hospital.

At 7:32 pm, Ulysses was declared dead.

Ford Focus mass recall due to fire risk

Car manufacturer Ford is recalling nearly 43,000 of its Focus model cars, warning they have a fault which could lead to a fire.

Ford Focus models made between April 12, 2011 and September 29, 2015 have a fault in their carbon canisters which means they can be blocked by dust.

"If this condition is not corrected, the fuel tank may crack, resulting in a fuel leak," the product recall states.

"A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can lead to a fire."

MMDA conducting studies on effect of banning Uber, closure of bus terminals

Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Friday said that they are still conducting studies on whether the one-month suspension of Uber and closure of bus terminals along EDSA helped in easing traffic congestion.

"We're still conducting studies po doon sa aming traffic engineering. Merong nakakapagsabi but that's not enough para sabihing lumuwag," MMDA spokesperson Celine Pialago said in an interview on GMA News' Unang Balita.

"Everytime na nagkakaroon ng pag-aaral ang MMDA, we don't want to claim it as a success na lumuwag o sumikip...nagsasagawa po tayo ng pag-aaral kung nakatulong 'yung pag-ban sa Uber," she added.

The MMDA on Thursday ordered nine bus terminals on EDSA to shut down operations for their failure to comply with regulations like the nose-in, nose-out rule.

So I headed that way, merong adventure sa likod ko na nakasunod. May bumabang ale dun sa adventure, crossed over to the other side, tapos lumapit dun sa sasakyang paalis na tapos tinuturo nya dun sa binabaan nyang adventure na nasa likuran ko...

Eh since ako nga ang nasa unahan, ehdi ako yung unang nakaikot papunta dun sa vacant slot.. Humarang yung ale dun sa slot, eh since malapit sa corner huminto muna ako sabay busina kay ale, at paparking nga ako. Tapos si adventure sa likod ko busina ng busina sakin. Pero hindi ako nagpatinag, my vehicle arrived first so akin dapat yung slot na yun.
