I got a modded TM PSG-1 and stock JG P90. I tend to go for bullpup AEGs because of the shorter lengths, but I absolutely love the PSG. Brings me back to my marksmanship roots in UST.

Got that right, madalas maglaro pinsan ko nito...
Nakaka dalawang box daw kada laro...
Baka kinakain niya yung iba para gumaan...
Full-metal daw yung baril eh...

History of my Airsoft gear:

TM Samurai Edge - Sold it because of family needs
KSC G26-C - Busted but still with me
TM Steyr AUG - Still with me, heavily modded internals, with an HK suppressor.
A 1911 that I forgot the brand - Sold to buy better pistol(s)
ICS CXP - BATAS (my team)-designed riffle, sold it when I lost my job :(
TM HI-capa (2x) - Heavily modded up to metal slide, sold both pistols, oh well...
Bates Tan boots - still with me

I haven't played in 6 months I think. I lost interest I guess. :)

No offense but seriously, I find the people who's into this sport/hobby as "Posers". Yung iba full battle gear pa at may paint pa sa mukha. Then those guns that are close to the real thing pero pellet lang naman ang lumalabas. :?

Why not try the real thing specifically sa Firing Range or Sport Shooting if you're really trigger happy or someone close to that? May option ka naman na either handgun or rifle ang gamitin mo sa Firing Range, then same din ata sa Sport shooting.   :-)

Peace...  :-)

no offense taken

Problem with powder and lead is that it's more expensive than AEG. As someone who used to shoot small calibre for my college marksmanship team, I should know. Granted that AEGs are not the real thing, it helps me to practice my aim, at least at shorter ranges. I still miss being able to hit a 1 peso sized target at 75 yards with a .22 calibre round, though. I would love to gain some experience with a real Barrett M82 given a chance, but owning one can be a bit of a problem here... even if one can afford it (which I cannot).

Alam ko airsoft was the solution for the US military to train soldiers w/o wasting (or saving) finaces on bullets & casualties... Its the reason why Airsoft is closer to the real thing kase you experience shooting other people that shoot back... You can't experience those in the firing range & Sport shooting, where you only shoot targets made out of wood, paper, clay & etc... I think Airsoft's roots was a "realistic but safer & cheaper" military training... Airsoft guns have the modifications closer to the real thing including look, weight & and feel... Lalo na yung mga full metal... Sakit sa braso....  :-D

BTW There's no fun & thrill if you play w/ guns with your friends and they die or you die...
Though it is sometimes funny see them in pain... (But not in the dying/deadly kinda way... :-D)

I saw this guy take a 450FPS gun on the face, swakto sa pisngi...

I'm a sniper at heart... Seriously, though, let's just say I got some army training to that effect and I've been target shooting since I was 11. That's probably why my main AEG now is a PSG-1 although I can consistently hit a bulls shooting from the hip with my P90 after a couple of ranging/calibration rounds.

Im playing airsoft as much as I play music because it gives me the thrill and adrenaline rush. I cant blame non-airsofters if they perceive players as "posers", I myself think that way also before i got hooked on the game. There are many practical reasons why a "mere airsofter" just facing bb bullets have to don combat uniforms and gears like those in the military. The environment they play for one is very similar, abandoned unlighted and unsafe buildings with broken glass, debris, exposed rusted metal bars all around, burned out vehicles whether props or not. A misstep could get you injured, cut and bleeding. I dont think of any other bag or pocket that can carry your loadout esp. the magazines than a combat vest with a hydration bladder. You will use not less than 4 of those mags in a short game. The helmet (mine is a kevlar) has all the attachments like NVG mounts, helmet light and beacon flasher for milsim night games. Some overdo it and prefer heavy loadout to simulate those in actual combats while some play it light and minimalist. Whatever the reason, safety matters a lot- theres always another day to fight. Airsoft is unlike badminton or gym workout played on an airconditioned, smooth and lighted covered court. In airsoft, there are no curvy girls passing by or an attendant handing out towels and energy drinks, instead, somebody you dont see may just be meters away waiting to rain bb projectiles on you in a surprise move.
Take a look at my loadout.

Most of the shops will help you in registering your gun. Wala pang 1K ang gastos lahat-lahat sa permit to transport.

This and the inactivity of this thread- humihina na ba ang airsoft hobby?

Yeah me too. Im not into playing war games anymore. Though i played a total of 3 times and forgot about pursuing an expensive hobby. Pero sa baba ng prices ngayon, i want to get a sniper or hunting rifle ( patay mga daga sa amin) p
1k -3k nalang.

AWESOME LOADOUT! hehehe.

But I prefer these

Problem with powder and lead is that it's more expensive than AEG. As someone who used to shoot small calibre for my college marksmanship team, I should know. Granted that AEGs are not the real thing, it helps me to practice my aim, at least at shorter ranges. I still miss being able to hit a 1 peso sized target at 75 yards with a .22 calibre round, though. I would love to gain some experience with a real Barrett M82 given a chance, but owning one can be a bit of a problem here... even if one can afford it (which I cannot).

wow! barrett M82

Any store in Manila that sells AIRSOFT pistols? MCS & Cartimar Vincents pa lang napuntahan ko. Saan merong maraming choices na tindahan?

Salamat sa sasagot...
