mga sir alin ba ang pinaka maganda sa mga ito,

DW Pacific All Maple SX Series Popcorn Snares 6x10 10lugs

or

Pearl FireCracker Steel Shell Snare Drums 10 x 5 inch

or

Pearl FireCracker Poplar Shell Snare Drums 10 x 5

or

Sonor JSD 10 Jungle Snare 2 x 10 (it looks like wat jungle beat master kevin Sawka use )

or shal i go w/ the regular pearl mapple piccolo

one of my frend from new jersey will be comming home on july and ito ang mga binigay nya sakin na options for pasalubong, as much as i want to get a signatured series, i cant, baka maging bato pa, i'll try to look and post pics, pa review na lang mga sir

hmmm, sabi ni drumster sa akin, pwede kaso iba ang tunog. kasi inquire ko sa kanya dati kung pwede yung 14" na g2 ko. eh double ply pala, so, physically mag-fit sya, pero sa sound ata panget. i just dunno with single ply heads. mas prefer ko nga lang coated pag snare....

@ Daemonite-  Yung Evans, naka specify sa box kung snare batter o toms' pero sa remo...walang box eh, and there's no text that indicates whatsoever na nakalagay sa head mismo... kakalito no :?

10" heads for snare madami yan...

Audiophile... JB.. khit san... ok lng... Ambassador for REmo ... genera dry or G2 coated for Evans... or G1

it matters for a snare, especially on the reso side

lighter heads = more sensitivity
heavier heads = more focused sound

using tom heads on snares will work but it will lessen the snare's sensitivity and crispness. ghost notes dont sound as good

my 8" snare is not good for doing ghostnotes, im using lazer single ply heads on both batter and reso

i dont know if there are specially designed ones but do grab puresound blasters if you get the chance. they sound crisper than your average snare wire and you can really feel the ghostnotes come alive

What about the Remo "hazy" thing for reso (durex-thin  :-D ) combined with coated ambassador for snare drum batter?
Also, coated emperor on tom batters with gretsch stock head on reso? May idea ba kayo sa tunog neto?

Parang hindi maganda coating nung Emperor. Sinalpak ko na kahapon,tapos nag tuning ako hanggang kaninang umaga, ambilis magasgas nung coating nya! Nagtotono pa lang ako puro scratches na?!? Compared to coated ambassador na nangingitim na sa dumi pero di agad napupudpod :-o

sensia na mga idol makiki sali lng po ako. kung sakin po mas maganda ang firecracker among the three.kasi na try ko na sya. kaso may dis advantage lng po sa 10/5 mahirap hirap rin mag hanap ng magandang spot sa rim top. pero magagawan ng paraan yun. so for me ill go for firecracker kasi ako di ko sya pinag sisihan na nag karoon ako.but sad to say kailangan ko syang ibenta kasi meron akong bago hehehehehe. good day po sa inyong lahat.
