I believe so sir ralph, it should be the black hard plastic sleeve where your bottom cymbal felt is resting on... in turn, your cymbal is resting on this bottom cymbal felt...yung sleeve kasi ng Tama may disk na integrated sa gitna pangsalo sa felt and weight of the cymbal...kung walang sleeve i could imagine dudulas pababa yung bottom cymbal felt together with your cymbal...based on your pictures mukha namang steady yung cymbals so there has to be something holding them up, and my guess is it's the sleeve, and baligtaran yan so you actually have 2 sleeves na lalaspagin, isa sa taas and isa sa ibaba  :-D

Another best thing here is make the internet your dictionary. Take advantage of it. Hanapin mo mga terms relating drums. Know its anatomy and physiology :nosebleed:. Madame kang matututunan and you won't be having a hard time figuring out terms used.
Planning for a Band Rehearsal Studio business. Baka may alam kayong space for rent around QC area lang. Please PM me. Thank you.

Matagal din akong hindi nakabalik dito...

Regarding the cymbals stand, may kasama na palang sleeve yun mga sir so no need to worry about the keyhole.....

Ito na lang, saan kaya pwede bumili online ng Zildjian Cymbals cleaner?

TIA at God bless sa lahat...

don't use the Zildjian Cleaner bro, nakakatanggal siya ng logos ng cymbals which will dramiatically reduce the resale price of your cymbals.

best to use the MEINL Cymbal Cleaner. AFAIK, okay daw siya with all cymbals tapos di nakakatanggal ng logos :D

Sir...I've read what sir ralph is saying a lot of times already, so i'd listen to him if i were you... if you want to keep your cymbals clean, why not get a cymbal bag instead...after use, wipe your cymbals with a soft, dry cloth then store them in the bag...di masyadong dudumi cymbals mo...

unfortunately I don't practice this myself kasi tamad ako  wag mo ko gayahin...

Three times pa lang nagamit. Nung ngpaevent ang compny namin sa bkb , bring your own daw kaya napabili ako. Sa practice di ko ginagamit since maganda naman cymbals ng august 8 studio.

Salamat in advance mga sir.

Stagg SH series. Sabian B8/B8 Pro or Zildjian ZBT or Meinl MCS/MB8.  Although sa tingin ko mas mahal pa yung mga B8 cymbals so try scouting for Stagg SH first.

As to trading in the Planet Z, medyo mababa ang resale/trade value nyan, so expect to shell out a good amount for your new cymbals.

BEGINNER CYMBALS:

I'd get an Istanbul RADIANT or ISTANBUL SAMATYA Set. they usually sound decent.

The SHs, for me are an intermediate players choice kasi mejo inconsistent sounding ang cymbals ni stagg. kailangan piliin kung ano maganda, build and sound wise. coming from planetZ kasi, most bronze cymbals will sound decent to you, eh baka mamaya sobrang dark, or sobrang thrashy na yung makuha mo bro, you'll most probably be selling the staggs din as your taste matures.

The ZBTs and the B8s are great choices as well. dito talga, wala ka nang sugal sugal. sure ka na it will sound as close to the other boxes or other cymbals na zbt or b8. yun nga lang, malamang ibebenta mo rin to as your taste matures.

Best advice: get Istanbuls or Zildjian A/Ks or basta cast cymbals. you can try looking at our classifieds. :)

How much yung Radiants secondhand/new? Hindi ba prone din sya sa tonal inconsistencies dahil handmade?

15-18k secondhand. sometimes going as low as 10k per set. mint.  (there was a forumer who sold his for 10k :O damn. sayang.)

bnew goes for around 20k per set.

sure, may tonal inconsistencies, but not as inconsistent as stagg SHs. SH kasi, you can get something sounding like the K custom, and you can get something that sounds like stock fernendo cymbals. (based on experience)

I should look into Istanbul, even just for the consistency. Kahit yung splash ko, I was trying out a couple, worlds apart yung difference. yung una tunog zbt!

im not doing marketing for istanbul. pero basing from my experience, mas consistent talaga and better sounding si istanbul kesa kay stagg. though mas mura parin ang bnew ni stagg. tiyaga lang sa pag pili.
