Instant cash, what are you going to do with it?
« on: December 22, 2013, 01:05:04 AM »
What are you going to do if you were given a decent amount of cash for the upcoming christmas? Or even birthday, graduation, or any occassions that there will be a chance that you'll recieve cash as a gift? Anong gagawin mo sa pera? O kaya anong bibilin mo? Any gears that are related sa drums, cymbals, hardware, pedal, recording equipment such as video cam, mixers, drum mics, compressor, etc..

Simulan naten sa 20k..

Mga sir Mods, purpose of this is to have/share some ideas on what to invest for.

Thanks.. Happy holidays drummers! :money:

First and natural reaction for me, is to save it...and find opportunities to grow that amount a bit..

but in a dream world where I was rich and financially secure and stable for many years.... id take that money and splurge it all on good food and a nice trip somewhere...probably the beach...and just chill and relax without a care in the world..

Haha! Haha! Happy holidays sayo!

mutes are bad,i really hate that bro, hanapin mo yung post ko about mutes,i think kelangan nakaaircon practice place mo at malamig dapat, kasi akin natunaw yung rubber at dumikit sa skin, hoops etc, pati cymbals! invest on a throne, best investment for me.seryoso, nawala yung pain sa likod ko if i go 4 hours practice, compared sa monoblock, alam mo naman ako mejo matangkad.hehe
if you want to invest on mics, mixer etc,go ahead, pero mamaximize mo ba yung purpose nila? for me hindi kasi wala naman akong studio sa bahay,at kwarto ko e overload sa reverb pag nakamic, hehe.kaya ayun. ask pao vivas, siya ang go to guy ko pag may tanung ako sa buhay buhay!hehe.

kahit may kit ako i practice with my pad tapos tsinelas na lang para mafeel ko yung bass at rhythm ng hats.
tapos sa brushes i use the actual snare, tapos nagddrums ako pag play along na lang. hope this helps. :-D

drum throne muna

tapos eto http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/QX2222USB.aspx mga 25k yata local price. mixer with compressor and reverb na. very good for drum monitoring. may usb output kung gusto mo irecord. tapos bili ka ng samson mic pack

Thanks ulet sir peeves :)

Medyo OT:
Yung dalawang wall, wala, giniba. So open siya..
But, I think it would be a good start and a nice investment na mapapakinabangan ko sigurado ng husto in the long run. Who knows, baka bigla tayong biyayaan ng Drum Room di ba? Hehe :)

Back to topic:
Thank you sa pag vote ng Throne kuya Alvin at kuya Pao. Ngayon, sa Throne na muna ko.. I'm considering Gibraltar 9608-OS eh.. :) Salamat ulet

Right now, an Omar Hakim snare, a cheap soft case for it, and a hard cymbal case.

yup makukuha with proper mic placement and balanced playing

Thanks ulet sir peeves :)
