Tesla Pickups? any good?
« on: August 07, 2010, 10:15:50 PM »
Im reserching about Tesla Humbuckers and singcoils (Korea).Just want to know the feedback of our friends here?
pricing is about 20% lower that Seymour Duncans. REviews are quite good. Especially the nitro and the classic series

Any inputs for our gurus?

Yup. Tesla's a re pretty good. I'm also interested in them. Papi... question, yung Radix, do they have any 7 strings??? =)
oo papi meron silang 7 strings but i think kapag umorder ka kailangan mong mag hintay less than a month para ka na ding nagpa custom, ikaw din masusunod kung anung color ng body and hardwares, magdadagdag ka lang ng konti sa reg, price

just finished installing the Tesla Plasma 2 set humbukers to my epi special. mahogany body. Sprague .22mf caps with 500k pots.

Initial feedback:

Bridge:
comparing it to SD JB. Obviously more output but transparent. Chords ring and not muddy at all. nice highs and mids without the shrill.Harmonics are sweet & jumps up as you wish. think about JB and 59 in one.

Neck: SLASH sound. period. notes are more pronounced than Jazz. higher output. Can easily handle high gain.

Summary: IMO,  Tesla Plasma 2 are better that JB & jazz combi. more flexible tone.cleaner and smoother.

sorry, im very poor in doing reviews.

They have better clean sound, and they dont sound sterile or compressed.

agree.

We have had 3 Radix Guitars (Osiris's and Stallion) for Demo last MINI GAS day AT Freedom Bar, and that was the Verdict (AH1 vs EMG 81-85)

Sorry, medyo OT ako... pero puwede rin ba pa-customize ng ibang model (like let's say, the radix deluxe) kahit hindi 7 string?
