The new haunting, epic masterpiece from Opeth, Watershed, comes out on June 3rd, 2008. The album, recorded in the band's home of Sweden and produced by frontman/guitarist Mikael Akerfeldt and Jens Bogren, is the first to feature new guitarist Fredrik Akesson and drummer Martin Axenrot.


Also available 06.03.08: Collector's Edition 2-disc CD/DVD set includes 3 bonus tracks, 5.1 audio mix of the entire album, extensive video content, and expanded artwork.

May special edition version 'to.  Yung may kasamang DVD, may tatlong tracks na idinagdag.  Supposedly, kasama sana yung cover nila ng Would? by Alice In Chains.  Nagkaproblema siguro sa royalties tsaka permiso sa pag-cover kaya inalis siya sa bonus tracks.

i got the album a couple weeks ago...to keep it short the album was great and lots of extra stuff included in the limited edition...and  my stand out track was the first one "coil" i thought it was a typical opeth acoustic song until it got somewhere in the middle...whoa!

Man, check out the new Bloodbath EP.  Siya din ang drummer d'un.  Vocals sa EP si Mikael.

Bukas, mapapanood ko na naman ang tugtugan ng Opeth live.  Medyo malayo ang upuan ko sa entablado noong huli ko silang nakita kasama ang Dream Theater sa Prognation.  Buti na lang mas maliit yung venue ng tugtugan nila bukas.
