nagka-guest appearance yung Cannibal Corpse sa isang movie ni Jim Carrey, nakalimutan ko na ung title eh
--
si Teddy Diaz(The Dawn)daw yung nagturo sa guitarist ng 6cyclemind,(i'm not sure if it's true)HAHA
--
Si Steve Vai yung nag-guitar solo sa ending ng Bill & Ted's na movie ni Keanu Reeves

Si Chuck Isidro ang gitarista ng 6CM, dating gitarista ng Afterimage...
Chuck is influenced by Teddy Diaz (Teddy didn't teach Chuck). He treasures a poster of Teddy Diaz kept in his room, which he got during his pre-teen years.

INTRoVOYS was mentored by Teddy Diaz. One of the songs, "Radio", on their 2005 release, A Brighter Day, was originally arranged by Teddy Diaz back in 1987.

Jeff porcaro played drums on MJ's best selling song "Thriller". Steve Lukather played rhythm guitar while Van halen took the solo in song "Beat It"

Freddie Mercury's real name was Farrokh Bulsara and was born in India before settling in the UK.

After the death of Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham in 1980, guitarist Jimmy Page refused to even pick up a guitar for nearly nine months.

Randy Jackson, a judge from American Idol, played the bass on Journey's 1986 album "Raised on Radio."

NBA swingman Jerry Stackhouse has twice performed the National Anthem before Mavericks home games, and once during the Bucks 2010 playoff appearance.

On April 25, 2003, during a game between the Portland Trail Blazers and the Dallas Mavericks, Maurice Cheeks, coach of Trail Blazers, aided 13-year-old Natalie Gilbert in singing the National anthem. After Gilbert forgot the words at "At the twilight's last gleaming", Cheeks rushed over to help her and they finished it together, as the entire Rose Garden Arena crowd sang with them. Cheeks and Gilbert received a standing ovation after the song was over.

The late former NBA player Wayman Tisdale was a smooth jazz bassist. He launched his music career with Power Forward in 1995 on the Motown Label. He recorded eight albums, with the 2001 release Face to Face climbing to No. 1 on Billboard's contemporary jazz chart. In 2002, he was awarded the Legacy Tribute Award by the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame. In an ESPN internet chat, Tisdale said his musical influences include funk bands of the 1970s. His most recent release, Rebound, was written and released after he had been diagnosed with cancer.

The intro riff to the Metallica song "Don't Tread on Me" from the album 'Metallica' was borrowed from the song "America" in the movie West Side Story.
Lars Ulrich used to be a tennis player during child/younghood and played some important matches at European level with young tennis players such as Boris Becker.
Metallica's first ever gig was on 14th March 1982 at Radio City in Anaheim, California.
When the covers for 'Ride the Lightning' were being printed, an error occurred at the European printing press and a few of the covers came out green instead of blue. These days, the records with the green covers are considered to be extremely rare.
Frontman James Hetfield was originally in a short-lived band named Leather Charm, alongside bassist Ron McGovney (who spent only a year in Metallica). When Hetfield decided that his band Leather Charm should move to be more serious, the band broke up. Short after, Metallica was born.

The song "Goodbye for Now" by P.O.D.  features guest vocals by then unknown Katy Perry and would be the first single she appeared on before promoting her major label debut album in 2007...  :-)

Eddie Van Halen did the Solo in Michael Jackson's hit song  "Beat It".  But did you also know that Steve Lukather (TOTO) played the rhythm guitar riffs on the recording?  :-D
